كتاب الكسوف
Rapporté par Ziyad b. 'Ilaqa : J’ai entendu Mughira b. Shu'ba dire que le soleil s’est éclipsé du vivant du Messager d’Allah ﷺ, le jour où Ibrahim est décédé. À ce sujet, le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « En vérité, le soleil et la lune sont deux signes parmi les signes d’Allah. Ils ne s’éclipsent pas à cause de la mort ou de la naissance de quelqu’un. Donc, quand vous les voyez, invoquez Allah et accomplissez la prière jusqu’à ce que cela se termine. »

وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبٌ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ - حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ عِلاَقَةَ، - وَفِي رِوَايَةِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ قَالَ قَالَ زِيَادُ بْنُ عِلاَقَةَ - سَمِعْتُ الْمُغِيرَةَ بْنَ شُعْبَةَ، يَقُولُ انْكَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَ مَاتَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ آيَتَانِ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ لاَ يَنْكَسِفَانِ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ وَلاَ لِحَيَاتِهِ فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهُمَا فَادْعُوا اللَّهَ وَصَلُّوا حَتَّى يَنْكَشِفَ " .
Traduction anglaise
Ziyad b. 'Ilaqa reported:I heard Mughira b. Shu'ba saying that the sun eclipsed during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) on the day when Ibrahim died. Upon this the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Verily the sun and the moon are the two signs among the signs of Allah. They do not eclipse on account of the death of anyone or on account of the birth of anyone. So when you see them, supplicate Allah, and observe prayer till it is over
Traduction en ourdou
حضرت مغیرہ بن شعبہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے عہد مبارک میں سورج کو گرہن لگا ، اسی دن جب ابراہیم رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فوت ہوئے ، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " سورج اور چاند اللہ تعالیٰ کی نشانیوں میں سے دو نشانیاں ہیں ، ان کو نہ کسی کی موت سے گرہن لگتاہے اور نہ کسی کی زندگی سے اس لئے جب تم ان کو ( گرہن لگا ) دیکھو تو اللہ کو پکارو اور نماز پڑھو یہاں تک کہ گرہن زائل ہوجائے ۔
