Hadith 2103 — Livre 10: The Book of Prayer - Eclipses
كتاب الكسوف
Rapporté par Asma’ : Le soleil s’est éclipsé du vivant du Messager d’Allah ﷺ. Je suis allée voir ‘Aïsha qui était en train de prier. Je lui ai demandé : « Pourquoi les gens prient-ils ainsi ? » Elle m’a fait signe vers le ciel avec la tête. J’ai dit : « Est-ce un signe inhabituel ? » Elle a répondu : « Oui. » Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ se leva pour prier si longtemps que j’ai failli m’évanouir. J’ai pris une outre d’eau à côté de moi et j’ai commencé à verser de l’eau sur ma tête ou à m’asperger le visage. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ termina alors la prière et le soleil redevint clair. Il s’adressa aux gens, loua et glorifia Allah, puis dit : « Il n’y a rien que je n’aie vu auparavant, mais je l’ai vu ici, à cet endroit. J’ai vu le Paradis et l’Enfer. Il m’a aussi été révélé que vous serez éprouvés dans vos tombes, comme lors de la tentation du Dajjal. » Asma’ a dit : Je ne sais pas quel mot il a utilisé (qariban ou mithl), « et chacun de vous sera amené et on lui demandera : “Que sais-tu de cet homme ?” Si la personne est croyante (Asma’ dit : je ne sais pas si c’était le mot al-Mu’min ou al-Mu’qin), elle dira : “C’est Muhammad, le Messager d’Allah. Il nous a apporté des signes clairs et la bonne direction. Nous avons répondu à son appel et nous lui avons obéi.” (Il répétera cela trois fois), et on lui dira : “Dors en paix. Nous savions déjà que tu croyais en lui.” » Ainsi, le croyant dormira paisiblement. Quant à l’hypocrite ou au sceptique (Asma’ dit : je ne sais pas si c’était al-Munafiq ou al-Murtad), il dira : « Je ne sais pas. J’ai juste répété ce que disaient les gens. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ، قَالَتْ خَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَدَخَلْتُ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ وَهِيَ تُصَلِّي فَقُلْتُ مَا شَأْنُ النَّاسِ يُصَلُّونَ فَأَشَارَتْ بِرَأْسِهَا إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فَقُلْتُ آيَةٌ قَالَتْ نَعَمْ . فَأَطَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْقِيَامَ جِدًّا حَتَّى تَجَلاَّنِي الْغَشْىُ فَأَخَذْتُ قِرْبَةً مِنْ مَاءٍ إِلَى جَنْبِي فَجَعَلْتُ أَصُبُّ عَلَى رَأْسِي أَوْ عَلَى وَجْهِي مِنَ الْمَاءِ - قَالَتْ - فَانْصَرَفَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَقَدْ تَجَلَّتِ الشَّمْسُ فَخَطَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم النَّاسَ فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ " أَمَّا بَعْدُ مَا مِنْ شَىْءٍ لَمْ أَكُنْ رَأَيْتُهُ إِلاَّ قَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ فِي مَقَامِي هَذَا حَتَّى الْجَنَّةَ وَالنَّارَ وَإِنَّهُ قَدْ أُوحِيَ إِلَىَّ أَنَّكُمْ تُفْتَنُونَ فِي الْقُبُورِ قَرِيبًا أَوْ مِثْلَ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ - لاَ أَدْرِي أَىَّ ذَلِكَ قَالَتْ أَسْمَاءُ - فَيُؤْتَى أَحَدُكُمْ فَيُقَالُ مَا عِلْمُكَ بِهَذَا الرَّجُلِ فَأَمَّا الْمُؤْمِنُ أَوِ الْمُوقِنُ - لاَ أَدْرِي أَىَّ ذَلِكَ قَالَتْ أَسْمَاءُ - فَيَقُولُ هُوَ مُحَمَّدٌ هُوَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ جَاءَنَا بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَالْهُدَى فَأَجَبْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا . ثَلاَثَ مِرَارٍ فَيُقَالُ لَهُ نَمْ قَدْ كُنَّا نَعْلَمُ إِنَّكَ لَتُؤْمِنُ بِهِ فَنَمْ صَالِحًا وَأَمَّا الْمُنَافِقُ أَوِ الْمُرْتَابُ - لاَ أَدْرِي أَىَّ ذَلِكَ قَالَتْ أَسْمَاءُ - فَيَقُولُ لاَ أَدْرِي سَمِعْتُ النَّاسَ يَقُولُونَ شَيْئًا فَقُلْتُ " .
Traduction anglaise
Asma' reported:The sun eclipsed during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). As I went to 'A'isha who was busy in prayer. I said: What is the matter with the people that they are praying (a special prayer)? She ('A'isha) pointed towards the sky with her head. I said: Is it (an unusual) sign? She said: Yes. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood up for prayer for such a long time that I was about to faint. I caught hold of a waterskin lying by my side, and began to pour water over my head, or (began to sprinkle water) on my face. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) then finished and the sun had brightened. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) then addressed the people, (after) praising Allah and lauding Him, and then said: There was no such thing as I did not see earlier, but I saw it at this very place of mine. I ever saw Paradise and Hell. It was also revealed to me that you would be tried in the graves, as you would he tried something like the turmoil of the Dajjal. Asma' said: I do not know which word he actually used (qariban or mithl), and each one of you would be brought and it would be said: What is your knowledge about this man? If the person is a believer, (Asma' said: I do not know whether it was the word al-Mu'min or al-Mu'qin) he would say: He is Muhammad and he is the Messenger of Allah. He brought to us the clear signs and right guidance. So we responded and obeyed him. (He would repeat this three times), and it would be said to him: You should go to sleep. We already knew that you are a believer in him. So the pious man would go to sleep. So far as the hypocrite or sceptic is concerned (Asma' said: I do not know which word was that: al-Munafiq (hypocrite) or al-Murtad (doubtful) he would say: I do not know. I only uttered whatever I heard people say

ہمیں ( عبداللہ ) ابن نمیر نے حدیث بیان کی ، کہا : ہم سے ہشام نے ، انھوں نے ( اپنی بیوی ) فاطمہ ( بنت منذر بن زبیر بن عوام ) سے اور انھوں نے ( اپنی دادی ) حضرت اسماء بنت ابی بکر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے حدیث بیان کی ، انھوں نے کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے دور میں سورج کوگرہن لگ گیا ، چنانچہ میں عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کے ہاں آئی اور وہ ( ساتھ مسجد میں ) نماز پڑھ رہی تھیں ، میں نے پوچھا : لوگوں کو کیا ہوا وہ ( اس وقت ) نماز پڑھ رہے ہیں؟انھوں نے اپنے سر سے آسمان کی طرف اشارہ کیا ۔ تو میں نے پوچھا : کوئی نشانی ( ظاہر ہوئی ) ہے؟انھوں نے ( اشارے سے ) بتایا : ہاں ، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے قیام کو بہت زیادہ لمبا کی حتیٰ کہ مجھ پر غشی طاری ہونے لگی ، میں نے اپنے پہلو میں پڑی مشک اٹھائی اور اپنے سریا اپنے چہرے پر پانی ڈالنےلگی ۔ کہا : رسول اللہ ﷺ نماز سے فارغ ہوئے توسورج روشن ہوچکا تھا ۔ پھر رسول اللہ ﷺ نے لوگوں سے خطاب فرمایا ، اللہ تعالیٰ کی حمد کی اور اس کی ثنا بیان کی ، پھر فرمایا : " اما بعد ( حمد وثنا کے بعد ) ! کوئی چیز ایسی نہیں جس کا میں نے مشاہدہ نہیں کیا تھا مگر اب میں نے اپنی اس جگہ سے اس کا مشاہدہ کر لیا ہے حتی ٰ کہ جنت اور دوزخ بھی دیکھ لی ہیں ۔ اور یہ بھی حقیقت ہے کہ مجھ پر یہ وحی کی گئی ہے کہ عنقریب ہے کہ عنقریب قبروں میں تمھاری مسیح دجال کی آزمائش کے قریب یا س جیسی آزمائش ہوگی ۔ ۔ ( فاطمہ نے کہا ) مجھے پتہ نہیں ، حضر ت اسما رضی اللہ عنہا نے ان میں سے کون سا لفظ کہا ۔ اور تم میں سے ہر ایک کے پاس ( فرشتوں کی ) آمد ہو گی اور پوچھا جائے گا : تم اس آدمی کے بارے میں کیاجانتے ہو ؟ تومومن یا یقین رکھنے والا ۔ مجھے معلوم نہیں حضرت اسما رضی اللہ عنہا نے کون سا لفظ کہا ۔ ۔ کہنے گا : وہ محمد ہیں ، وہ اللہ کے رسول ہیں ، ہمارےپاس کھلی نشانیاں اور ہدایت لے کر آئے ، ہم نے ان ( کی بات ) کوقبول کیا اور اطاعت کی ، تین دفعہ ( سوال وجواب ) ہوگا ۔ پھراُس سے کہاجائے گا : سوجاؤ ، ہمیں معلوم تھا کہ تم ان پر ایمان رکھتےہو ۔ ایک نیک بخت کی طرح سوجاؤ ۔ اور رہامنافق یا وہ جوشک وشبہ میں مبتلا تھا ۔ معلوم نہیں حضرت اسما رضی اللہ عنہا نے ان میں سے کو ن سا لفظ کہا ۔ تو وہ کہے گا : میں نہیں جانتا ، میں نے لوگوں کو کچھ کہتےہوئے سناتھا تو وہی کہہ دیا تھا ۔
