Rapporté par Al-Shaibini : J’ai interrogé Zirr b. Hubaish au sujet des paroles d’Allah (le Tout-Puissant et le Grand) : « Il était à une distance de deux arcs, ou plus près encore » (Coran, 53:8). Il a dit : Ibn Mas’ud m’a informé que, certes, le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a vu Gabriel, et il avait six cents ailes

وَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادٌ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ الْعَوَّامِ - حَدَّثَنَا الشَّيْبَانِيُّ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ زِرَّ بْنَ حُبَيْشٍ عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ، عَزَّ وَجَلَّ { فَكَانَ قَابَ قَوْسَيْنِ أَوْ أَدْنَى} قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَأَى جِبْرِيلَ لَهُ سِتُّمِائَةِ جَنَاحٍ .
Traduction anglaise
Al-Shaibini reported to us:I asked Zirr b. Hubaish about the words of Allah (the Mighty and Great):" So he was (at a distance) of two bows or nearer" (al-Qur'an, Iiii 8). He said: Ibn Mas'ud informed me that, verily, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saw Gabriel and he had six hundred wings
Traduction en ourdou
عباد بن عوام نے کہا : ہمیں شیبانی نے خبر دی ، انہوں نے کہا : میں نے زربن حبیش سے اللہ تعالیٰ کے اس فرمان کے بارے میں سوال کیا : ’’وہ دو کمان کے برابر فاصلے پر تھے یا اس سے بھی زیادہ قریب تھے ۔ ‘ ‘ زر نے کہا : مجھے عبد اللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نےخبر دی کہ رسو ل اللہﷺنےجبریل علیہ السلام کو دیکھا ، ان کے چھ سو پر تھے ۔
