Hadith 360 — Livre 1: The Book of Faith
كتاب الإيمان
Rapporté par Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه : Un homme est venu voir le Messager d’Allah ﷺ et lui a demandé : « Messager d’Allah, que dois-je faire si quelqu’un vient pour me prendre mes biens ? » Le Prophète ﷺ a répondu : « Ne lui cède pas tes biens. » L’homme a dit : « Et s’il me combat ? » Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Alors défends-toi. » L’homme a demandé : « Et si je suis tué ? » Le Prophète ﷺ a répondu : « Tu seras un martyr. » L’homme a demandé : « Et si je le tue, Messager d’Allah ? » Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Il ira en Enfer. »

حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَخْلَدٍ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ يُرِيدُ أَخْذَ مَالِي قَالَ " فَلاَ تُعْطِهِ مَالَكَ " . قَالَ أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ قَاتَلَنِي قَالَ " قَاتِلْهُ " . قَالَ أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ قَتَلَنِي قَالَ " فَأَنْتَ شَهِيدٌ " . قَالَ أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ قَتَلْتُهُ قَالَ " هُوَ فِي النَّارِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Huraira reported:A person came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said: Messenger of Allah, what do you think if a man comes to me in order to appropriate my possession? He (the Holy Prophet) said: Don't surrender your possession to him. He (the inquirer) said: If he fights me? He (the Holy Prophet) remarked: Then fight (with him). He (the inquirer) again said: What do you think if I am killed? He (the Holy Prophet) observed: You would be a martyr. He (the inquirer) said: What do you think of him (Messenger of Allah) If I kill him. He (the Holy Prophet) said: he would be in the Fire
Traduction en ourdou
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے ، انہوں نے کہا : ایک آدمی رسول اللہ ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور عرض کی : اے اللہ کے رسول ! آپ کی کیا رائے ہے اگر کوئی آدمی آ کر میرا مال چھیننا چاہے ( تو میں کیا کروں؟ ) آپ نے فرمایا : ’’ اسے اپنا مال نہ دو ۔ ‘ ‘ اس ن کہا : آپ کی کیا رائے ہے اگر وہ میرے ساتھ لڑائی کرے تو ؟ فرمایا : ’’ تم اس سے لڑائی کرو ۔ ‘ ‘ اس نے پوچھا : آپ کی کیا رائے ہے اگر وہ مجھے قتل کر دے تو ؟ آپ نے فرمایا : ’’ تم شہید ہو گے ۔ ‘ ‘ اس نے پوچھا : آپ کی کیا رائے ہے اگر میں اسے قتل کر دوں ؟ فرمایا : ’’ وہ دوزخی ہو گا ۔ ‘ ‘
