Hadith 284 — Livre 1: The Book of Faith
كتاب الإيمان
Rapporté par Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ passa devant un tas de nourriture (du maïs). Il y plongea la main et ses doigts furent mouillés. Il demanda au propriétaire de ce tas : « Qu’est-ce que c’est ? » Il répondit : « Messager d’Allah, il a été mouillé par la pluie. » Le Prophète ﷺ dit alors : « Pourquoi n’as-tu pas mis cette partie mouillée au-dessus du reste pour que les gens la voient ? Celui qui trompe n’est pas des miens (n’est pas mon disciple). »

وَحَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، وَقُتَيْبَةُ، وَابْنُ، حُجْرٍ جَمِيعًا عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، - قَالَ ابْنُ أَيُّوبَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، - قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي الْعَلاَءُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، . أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَرَّ عَلَى صُبْرَةِ طَعَامٍ فَأَدْخَلَ يَدَهُ فِيهَا فَنَالَتْ أَصَابِعُهُ بَلَلاً فَقَالَ " مَا هَذَا يَا صَاحِبَ الطَّعَامِ " . قَالَ أَصَابَتْهُ السَّمَاءُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ . قَالَ " أَفَلاَ جَعَلْتَهُ فَوْقَ الطَّعَامِ كَىْ يَرَاهُ النَّاسُ مَنْ غَشَّ فَلَيْسَ مِنِّي " .
Traduction anglaise
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) happened to pass by a heap of eatables (corn). He thrust his hand in that (heap) and his fingers were moistened. He said to the owner of that heap of eatables (corn):What is this? He replied: Messenger of Allah, these have been drenched by rainfall. He (the Holy Prophet) remarked: Why did you not place this (the drenched part of the heap) over other eatables so that the people could see it? He who deceives is not of me (is not my follower)
Traduction en ourdou
علاء نےاپنے والد عبدالرحمن بن یعقوب سے اور انہوں نے حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ غلے کی ایک ڈھیری کے پاس سے گزرے توآپ نے اپنا ہاتھ اس میں داخل کیا ، آپ کی انگلیوں نے نمی محسوس کی تو آپ نے فرمایا : ’’ غلے کے مالک! یہ کیا ہے ؟ ‘ ‘ اس نے عرض کی : اے اللہ کے رسول ! اس پر بارش پڑ گئی تھی ۔ آپ نے فرمایا : ’’ توتم نے اسے ( بھیگے ہوئے غلے ) کو اوپر کیوں نہ رکھا تاکہ لو گ اسے دیکھ لیتے ؟ جس نے دھوکا کیا ، وہ مجھ سے نہیں ۔ ‘ ‘ ( ان لوگوں میں سے نہیں جنہیں میرے ساتھ وابستہ ہونے کا شرف حاصل ہے ۔)
