كتاب الإيمان
Rapporté par Ubaidullah b. Abu Bakr : J’ai entendu Anas b. Malik dire : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a parlé des grands péchés, ou on l’a interrogé à ce sujet. Il a dit : « Associer quelqu’un à Allah, tuer quelqu’un, désobéir à ses parents. » Il a ajouté : « Voulez-vous que je vous dise quel est le plus grave des grands péchés ? » Puis il a dit : « La fausse parole ou le faux témoignage. » Shu‘ba a dit : C’était probablement « le faux témoignage »

وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ ذَكَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْكَبَائِرَ - أَوْ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْكَبَائِرِ - فَقَالَ " الشِّرْكُ بِاللَّهِ وَقَتْلُ النَّفْسِ وَعُقُوقُ الْوَالِدَيْنِ " . وَقَالَ " أَلاَ أُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِأَكْبَرِ الْكَبَائِرِ " . قَالَ " قَوْلُ الزُّورِ " . أَوْ قَالَ " شَهَادَةُ الزُّورِ " . قَالَ شُعْبَةُ وَأَكْبَرُ ظَنِّي أَنَّهُ شَهَادَةُ الزُّورِ .
Traduction anglaise
Ubaidullah b. Abu Bakr said:I heard Anas b. Malik saying: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) talked about the major sins, or he was asked about the major sins. Upon this he observed: Associating anyone with Allah, killing of a person, disobedience to parents. He (the Prophet further) said: Should I not inform you about the gravest of the major sins, and (in this connection) observed: False utterance or false testimony. Shu'ba said. It was most probably" false testimony

محمد بن جعفر نے کہا : ہم سے شعبہ نے حدیث بیان کی ، انہوں نے کہا : مجھ سے عبید اللہ بن ابی بکر نے حدیث بیان کی ، انہوں نے کہا : میں نے حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا ، انہوں نے کہا : رسول اللہ ﷺ نے بڑے گناہوں کا تذکرہ فرمایا ( یاآپ سے بڑے گناہوں کے بارے میں سوال کیا گیا ) تو آپ نے فرمایا : ’’ اللہ کے ساتھ شرک کرنا ، کسی کو ناحق قتل کرنا اور والدین کی نافرمانی کرنا ۔ ‘ ‘ ( پھر ) آپ نے فرمایا : ’’ کیا تمہیں کبیرہ گناہوں میں سب سے بڑا گناہ نہ بتاؤں ؟ ‘ ‘ فرمایا : ’’جھوٹ بولنا ( یا فرمایا : جھوٹی گواہی دینا ) ‘ ‘ شعبہ کاقول ہے : میرا ظن غالب یہ ہے کہ وہ ’’ جھوٹی گواہی ‘ ‘ ہے ۔
