كتاب الإيمان
Rapporté par ‘Abdullah : J’ai demandé au Messager d’Allah ﷺ : « Quel est le plus grand péché aux yeux d’Allah ? » Il a répondu : « C’est d’associer quelqu’un à Allah alors qu’Il t’a créé. » J’ai dit : « C’est vraiment grave. » J’ai demandé : « Et après cela, quel est le plus grave ? » Il a dit : « C’est de tuer ton enfant par crainte qu’il partage ta nourriture. » J’ai demandé : « Et après cela, quel est le plus grave ? » Il a dit : « C’est de commettre l’adultère avec la femme de ton voisin. »

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ، وَقَالَ، عُثْمَانُ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَىُّ الذَّنْبِ أَعْظَمُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ قَالَ " أَنْ تَجْعَلَ لِلَّهِ نِدًّا وَهُوَ خَلَقَكَ " . قَالَ قُلْتُ لَهُ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ لَعَظِيمٌ . قَالَ قُلْتُ ثُمَّ أَىٌّ قَالَ " ثُمَّ أَنْ تَقْتُلَ وَلَدَكَ مَخَافَةَ أَنْ يَطْعَمَ مَعَكَ " . قَالَ قُلْتُ ثُمَّ أَىٌّ قَالَ " ثُمَّ أَنْ تُزَانِيَ حَلِيلَةَ جَارِكَ " .
Traduction anglaise
Abdullah reported:I asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): Which sin is the gravest in the eye of Allah? He (the Holy Prophet) replied: That you associate a partner with Allah (despite the fact) that He has created you. He (the reporter) said: I told him (the, Holy Prophet): Verily it is indeed grave. He (the reporter) said: I asked him what the next (gravest sin) was. He (the Holy Prophet) replied: That you kill your child out of fear that he shall join you in food. He (the reporter) said: I asked (him) what the next (gravest sin) was. He (the Holy Prophet) observed: Then (the next gravest sin) is that you commit adultery with the wife of your neighbour
Traduction en ourdou
منصور نے ابو وائل سے ، انہوں نے عمروبن شرحبیل سےاور انہوں نے حضرت عبد اللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی ، انہوں نے کہا : میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ سے پوچھا : ’’اللہ کے ہاں سب سے بڑا گناہ کون سا ہے ؟ آپ نے فرمایا : ’’ یہ کہ تم اللہ کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک بناؤ جبکہ تمہیں اسی ( اللہ ) نے پیدا کیا ہے ۔ ‘ ‘ میں نے عرض کی : واقعی یہ بہت بڑا ( گناہ ) ہے ، کہا : میں نے پوچھا : پھر کون سا ؟ فرمایا : ’’یہ کہ تم اس ڈر سے اپنے بچے کو قتل کرو کہ وہ تمہارے ساتھ کھائے گا ۔ ‘ ‘ کہا : میں نے پوچھا : پھر کون سا ؟ فرمایا : ’’ پھر یہ کہ اپنے پڑوسی کی بیوی کے ساتھ زنا کرو ۔ ‘ ‘
