كتاب الإيمان
Rapporté par ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar رضي الله عنهما : Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « L’islam est bâti sur cinq piliers : l’unicité d’Allah, l’accomplissement de la prière, le paiement de la Zakat, le jeûne du Ramadan et le pèlerinage à La Mecque. » Quelqu’un demanda à ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar : « Lequel vient en premier, le pèlerinage ou le jeûne du Ramadan ? » Il répondit : « Non, c’est le jeûne du Ramadan qui vient avant le pèlerinage. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ، - يَعْنِي سُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ حَيَّانَ الأَحْمَرَ - عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الأَشْجَعِيِّ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " بُنِيَ الإِسْلاَمُ عَلَى خَمْسَةٍ عَلَى أَنْ يُوَحَّدَ اللَّهُ وَإِقَامِ الصَّلاَةِ وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ وَصِيَامِ رَمَضَانَ وَالْحَجِّ " . فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ الْحَجِّ وَصِيَامِ رَمَضَانَ قَالَ لاَ . صِيَامِ رَمَضَانَ وَالْحَجِّ . هَكَذَا سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم .
Traduction anglaise
It is narrated on the authority of ('Abdullah) son of Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Prophet (may peace of Allah be upon him) said:(The superstructure of) al-Islam is raised on five (pillars), i. e. the oneness of Allah, the establishment of prayer, payment of Zakat, the, fast of Ramadan, Pilgrimage (to Mecca). A person said (to 'Abdullah b. Umar the narrator): Which of the two precedes the other-Pilgrimage or the fasts of Rarnadan? Upon this he (the narrator) replied: No (it is not the Pilgrimage first) but the fasts of Ramadan precede the Pilgrimage

ابو خالد سلیمان بن حیان احمر نے ابومالک اشجعی سے ، انہوں نے سعد بن عبیدہ سے ، انہوں نے حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ سے اور انہوں نے نبی اکرم ﷺ سے روایت کی ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’ اسلام کی بنیاد پانچ چیزوں پر رکھی گئی ہے : اللہ کو یکتا قرار دینے ، نمازقائم کرنے ، زکاۃ ادا کرنے ، رمضان کے روزے رکھنے اور حج کرنے پر ۔ ‘ ‘ ایک شخص نے کہ : حج کرنے اور رمضان کے روزے رکھنے پر ؟ ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا : نہیں ! رمضان کے روزے رکھنے اور حج کرنے پر ۔ میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ سے یہ بات اسی طرح ( اسی ترتیب سے ) سنی تھی ۔
