Hadith 7470 — Livre 97: Oneness, Uniqueness of Allah (Tawheed)

Rapporté par Ibn `Abbas : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) est allé rendre visite à un bédouin malade et lui a dit : « Ne t’inquiète pas, Tahur (c’est-à-dire que ta maladie sera une purification de tes péchés), si Allah le veut. » Le bédouin a répondu : « Tahur ! Non, c’est une fièvre qui brûle dans le corps d’un vieil homme et qui va l’emmener dans sa tombe. » Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Alors, qu’il en soit ainsi. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم دَخَلَ عَلَى أَعْرَابِيٍّ يَعُودُهُ فَقَالَ " لاَ بَأْسَ عَلَيْكَ طَهُورٌ، إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ ". قَالَ قَالَ الأَعْرَابِيُّ طَهُورٌ، بَلْ هِيَ حُمَّى تَفُورُ عَلَى شَيْخٍ كَبِيرٍ، تُزِيرُهُ الْقُبُورَ. قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " فَنَعَمْ إِذًا ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Ibn `Abbas:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) entered upon a sick bedouin in whom he went to visit and said to him, "Don't worry, Tahur (i.e., your illness will be a means of cleansing of your sins), if Allah Will." The bedouin said, "Tahur! No, but it is a fever that is burning in the body of an old man and it will make him visit his grave." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Then it is so

ہم سے محمد نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے عبدالوہاب ثقفی نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے خالد حذاء نے بیان کیا، ان سے عکرمہ نے بیان کیا اور ان سے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ایک اعرابی کی عیادت کے لیے تشریف لے گئے اور اس سے کہا کہ کوئی مضائقہ نہیں یہ ( بیماری ) تمہارے لیے پاکی کا باعث ہے، اس پر اس نے کہا کہ جناب یہ وہ بخار ہے جو ایک بڈھے پر جوش مار رہا ہے اور اسے قبر تک پہنچا کے رہے گا، نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ پھر یونہی ہو گا۔
