Hadith 7454 — Livre 97: Oneness, Uniqueness of Allah (Tawheed)
كتاب التوحيد
Rapporté par `Abdullah bin Mas`ud : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ), le véridique et digne de confiance, nous a raconté : « La création de chacun de vous commence par la réunion des éléments de son corps pendant quarante jours et quarante nuits dans le ventre de sa mère. Ensuite, il devient une goutte de sang pour une période similaire (40 jours), puis il devient comme un morceau de chair pour une période similaire. Ensuite, un ange lui est envoyé (par Allah) et il reçoit l’ordre d’écrire quatre choses : sa subsistance, sa date de mort, ses actes, et s’il sera malheureux ou heureux (dans l’au-delà). Puis l’âme est insufflée en lui. Ainsi, l’un de vous peut faire des actes propres aux gens du Paradis au point qu’il n’y ait plus qu’une coudée entre lui et le Paradis, mais ce qui a été écrit pour lui l’emporte, et il commence à faire des actes propres aux gens de l’Enfer et y entre finalement ; et l’un de vous peut faire des actes propres aux gens de l’Enfer au point qu’il n’y ait plus qu’une coudée entre lui et l’Enfer, mais ce qui a été écrit pour lui l’emporte, et il commence à faire des actes propres aux gens du Paradis et y entre finalement. »

حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، سَمِعْتُ زَيْدَ بْنَ وَهْبٍ، سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ حَدَّثَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهْوَ الصَّادِقُ الْمَصْدُوقُ " إِنَّ خَلْقَ أَحَدِكُمْ يُجْمَعُ فِي بَطْنِ أُمِّهِ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْمًا وَأَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً، ثُمَّ يَكُونُ عَلَقَةً مِثْلَهُ، ثُمَّ يَكُونُ مُضْغَةً مِثْلَهُ، ثُمَّ يُبْعَثُ إِلَيْهِ الْمَلَكُ فَيُؤْذَنُ بِأَرْبَعِ كَلِمَاتٍ، فَيَكْتُبُ رِزْقَهُ وَأَجَلَهُ وَعَمَلَهُ وَشَقِيٌّ أَمْ سَعِيدٌ ثُمَّ يَنْفُخُ فِيهِ الرُّوحَ، فَإِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ لَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ، حَتَّى لاَ يَكُونُ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَهُ إِلاَّ ذِرَاعٌ، فَيَسْبِقُ عَلَيْهِ الْكِتَابُ، فَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَيَدْخُلُ النَّارَ، وَإِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ لَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ، حَتَّى مَا يَكُونُ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَهُ إِلاَّ ذِرَاعٌ فَيَسْبِقُ عَلَيْهِ الْكِتَابُ، فَيَعْمَلُ عَمَلَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَيَدْخُلُهَا ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated `Abdullah bin Mas`ud:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) the true and truly inspired, narrated to us, "The creation of everyone of you starts with the process of collecting the material for his body within forty days and forty nights in the womb of his mother. Then he becomes a clot of thick blood for a similar period (40 days) and then he becomes like a piece of flesh for a similar period. Then an angel is sent to him (by Allah) and the angel is allowed (ordered) to write four things; his livelihood, his (date of) death, his deeds, and whether he will be a wretched one or a blessed one (in the Hereafter) and then the soul is breathed into him. So one of you may do (good) deeds characteristic of the people of Paradise so much that there is nothing except a cubit between him and Paradise but then what has been written for him decides his behavior and he starts doing (evil) deeds characteristic of the people of Hell (Fire) and (ultimately) enters Hell (Fire); and one of you may do (evil) deeds characteristic of the people of Hell (Fire) so much so that there is nothing except a cubit between him and Hell (Fire), then what has been written for him decides his behavior and he starts doing (good) deeds characteristic of the people of Paradise and ultimately) enters Paradise." ہم سے آدم بن ابی ایاس نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے اعمش نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا زید بن وہب سے سنا اور انہوں نے عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا کہ ہم سے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بیان فرمایا جو صادق و مصدق ہیں کہ انسان کا نطفہ ماں کے پیٹ میں چالیس دن اور راتوں تک جمع رہتا ہے پھر وہ خون کی پھٹکی بن جاتا ہے، پھر وہ گوشت کا لوتھڑا ہو جاتا ہے پھر اس کے بعد فرشتہ بھیجا جاتا ہے اور اسے چار چیزوں کا حکم ہوتا ہے۔ چنانچہ وہ اس کی روزی، اس کی موت، اس کا عمل اور یہ کہ وہ بدبخت ہے یا نیک بخت لکھ لیتا ہے۔ پھر اس میں روح پھونکتا ہے اور تم میں سے ایک شخص جنت والوں کے سے عمل کرتا ہے اور جب اس کے اور جنت کے درمیان صرف ایک ہاتھ کا فرق رہ جاتا ہے تو اس کی تقدیر غالب آتی ہے اور وہ دوزخ والوں کے عمل کرنے لگتا ہے اور دوزخ میں داخل ہوتا ہے۔ اسی طرح ایک شخص دوزخ والوں کے عمل کرتا ہے اور جب اس کے اور دوزخ کے درمیان صرف ایک بالشت کا فاصلہ رہ جاتا ہے تو تقدیر غالب آتی ہے اور جنت والوں کے کام کرنے لگتا ہے، پھر جنت میں داخل ہوتا ہے۔
