Rapporté par Ibn `Umar : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Ne jurez pas par vos pères ; et que celui qui veut jurer le fasse par Allah. »

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَرْقَاءُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ تَحْلِفُوا بِآبَائِكُمْ، وَمَنْ كَانَ حَالِفًا فَلْيَحْلِفْ بِاللَّهِ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Ibn `Umar:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Do not swear by your fathers; and whoever wants to swear should swear by Allah

ہم سے ابونعیم نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے ورقاء نے بیان کیا، ان سے عبداللہ بن دینار نے بیان کیا اور ان سے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”اپنے باپ دادوں کی قسم نہ کھایا کرو، اگر کسی کو قسم کھانی ہی ہو تو اللہ کے نام کی قسم کھائے ورنہ خاموش رہے۔“
