Rapporté par `Abdullah : Le meilleur discours est le Livre d’Allah (le Coran), et la meilleure voie est celle de Muhammad. Les pires choses sont les innovations introduites dans la religion. Tout ce qui vous a été promis arrivera sans aucun doute, et vous ne pourrez pas y échapper

حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مُرَّةَ، سَمِعْتُ مُرَّةَ الْهَمْدَانِيَّ، يَقُولُ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ إِنَّ أَحْسَنَ الْحَدِيثِ كِتَابُ اللَّهِ، وَأَحْسَنَ الْهَدْىِ هَدْىُ مُحَمَّدٍ صلى الله عليه وسلم، وَشَرَّ الأُمُورِ مُحْدَثَاتُهَا، وَإِنَّ مَا تُوعَدُونَ لآتٍ، وَمَا أَنْتُمْ بِمُعْجِزِينَ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated `Abdullah:The best talk (speech) is Allah's Book 'Qur'an), and the best way is the way of Muhammad, and the worst matters are the heresies (those new things which are introduced into the religion); and whatever you have been promised will surely come to pass, and you cannot escape (it)
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے آدم بن ابی ایاس نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم کو عمرو بن مرہ نے خبر دی، کہا میں نے مرۃ الہمدانی سے سنا، بیان کیا کہ عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ سب سے اچھی بات کتاب اللہ اور سب سے اچھا طریقہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا طریقہ ہے اور سب سے بری نئی بات ( بدعت ) پیدا کرنا ہے ( دین میں ) اور بلاشبہ جس کا تم سے وعدہ کیا جاتا ہے وہ آ کر رہے گی اور تم پروردگار سے بچ کر کہیں نہیں جا سکتے۔
