Hadith 7269 — Livre 96: Holding Fast to the Qur'an and Sunnah
كتاب الاعتصام بالكتاب والسنة
Rapporté par Anas bin Malik : Il a entendu `Umar parler alors qu'il se tenait sur la chaire du Prophète (ﷺ) le matin qui a suivi la mort du Prophète, lorsque les gens avaient prêté allégeance à Abu Bakr. Il a récité le Tashah-hud devant Abu Bakr, puis a dit : « Ensuite : Allah a choisi pour Son Messager ce qui est auprès de Lui (le Paradis) plutôt que ce qui est auprès de vous (ce monde). Voici le Livre (le Coran) avec lequel Allah a guidé Son Messager, alors attachez-vous-y, car vous serez ainsi guidés sur le droit chemin, comme Allah a guidé Son Messager avec lui. »

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُمَرَ الْغَدَ، حِينَ بَايَعَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ أَبَا بَكْرٍ، وَاسْتَوَى عَلَى مِنْبَرِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم تَشَهَّدَ قَبْلَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ فَقَالَ أَمَّا بَعْدُ فَاخْتَارَ اللَّهُ لِرَسُولِهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الَّذِي عِنْدَهُ عَلَى الَّذِي عِنْدَكُمْ، وَهَذَا الْكِتَابُ الَّذِي هَدَى اللَّهُ بِهِ رَسُولَكُمْ فَخُذُوا بِهِ تَهْتَدُوا وَإِنَّمَا هَدَى اللَّهُ بِهِ رَسُولَهُ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Anas bin Malik:That he heard `Umar speaking while standing on the pulpit of the Prophet (ﷺ) in the morning (following the death of the Prophet), when the people had sworn allegiance to Abu Bakr. He said the Tashah-hud before Abu Bakr, and said, "Amma Ba'du (then after) Allah has chosen for his Apostle what is with Him (Paradise) rather than what is with you (the world). This is that Book (Qur'an) with which Allah guided your Apostle, so stick to it, for then you will be guided on the right path as Allah guided His Apostle with it

ہم سے یحییٰ بن بکیر نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے لیث بن سعد نے بیان کیا، ان سے عقیل بن خالد نے، ان سے ابن شہاب نے اور انہیں انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نے خبر دی کہ انہوں نے عمر رضی اللہ عنہ سے وہ خطبہ سنا جو انہوں نے وفات نبوی کے دوسرے دن پڑھا تھا، جس دن مسلمانوں نے ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ سے بیعت کی تھی۔ عمر رضی اللہ عنہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے منبر پر چڑھے اور ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ سے پہلے خطبہ پڑھا پھر کہا: امابعد! اللہ تعالیٰ نے اپنے رسول کے لیے وہ چیز ( آخرت ) پسند کی جو اس کے پاس تھی اس کے بجائے جو تمہارے پاس تھی یعنی دنیا اور یہ کتاب اللہ موجود ہے جس کے ذریعہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے تمہارے رسول کو دین و سیدھا راستہ بتلایا پس اسے تم تھامے رہو تو ہدایت یاب رہو گے۔ یعنی اس راستے پر رہو گے جو اللہ نے اپنے پیغمبر کو بتلایا تھا۔
