Hadith 7240 — Livre 94: Wishes
كتاب التمني
Rapporté par Abu Huraira : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Si je n’avais pas peur que cela soit difficile pour mes fidèles, je leur aurais ordonné d’utiliser le siwak (comme une obligation, pour se nettoyer les dents). »

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لَوْلاَ أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي لأَمَرْتُهُمْ بِالسِّوَاكِ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abu Huraira:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Were I not afraid that it would be hard on my followers, I would order them to use the siwak (as obligatory, for cleaning the teeth)

ہم سے یحییٰ بن بکیر نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے لیث بن سعد نے بیان کیا، ان سے جعفر بن ربیعہ نے، ان سے عبدالرحمٰن اعرج نے اور انہوں نے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”اگر میری امت پر شاق نہ ہوتا تو میں ان پر مسواک کرنا واجب قرار دیتا۔“
