Rapporté par Tarif Abi Tamima : J’ai vu Safwan, Jundab et les compagnons de Safwan pendant que Jundab donnait des conseils. Ils lui ont demandé : « As-tu entendu quelque chose du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) ? » Jundab a répondu : « Je l’ai entendu dire : ‘Celui qui fait une bonne action pour se faire remarquer, Allah dévoilera ses intentions le Jour de la Résurrection devant tout le monde. Et celui qui cause des difficultés aux gens, Allah lui causera des difficultés le Jour de la Résurrection.’ » Les gens ont alors dit à Jundab : « Donne-nous un conseil. » Il a dit : « La première partie du corps humain à se purifier, c’est le ventre. Donc, celui qui peut ne manger que de la nourriture bonne (halal et gagnée honnêtement), qu’il le fasse. Et celui qui peut faire en sorte qu’il n’y ait rien entre lui et le Paradis, même pas le fait de verser une poignée de sang (c’est-à-dire tuer quelqu’un), qu’il le fasse. »

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنِ طَرِيفٍ أَبِي تَمِيمَةَ، قَالَ شَهِدْتُ صَفْوَانَ وَجُنْدَبًا وَأَصْحَابَهُ وَهْوَ يُوصِيهِمْ فَقَالُوا هَلْ سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم شَيْئًا قَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ " مَنْ سَمَّعَ سَمَّعَ اللَّهُ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ـ قَالَ ـ وَمَنْ يُشَاقِقْ يَشْقُقِ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ". فَقَالُوا أَوْصِنَا. فَقَالَ" إِنَّ أَوَّلَ مَا يُنْتِنُ مِنَ الإِنْسَانِ بَطْنُهُ، فَمَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ أَنْ لاَ يَأْكُلَ إِلاَّ طَيِّبًا فَلْيَفْعَلْ، وَمَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ أَنْ لاَ يُحَالَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْجَنَّةِ بِمِلْءِ كَفِّهِ مِنْ دَمٍ أَهْرَاقَهُ فَلْيَفْعَلْ ". قُلْتُ لأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مَنْ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم جُنْدَبٌ قَالَ نَعَمْ جُنْدَبٌ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Tarif Abi Tamima:I saw Safwan and Jundab and Safwan's companions when Jundab was advising. They said, "Did you hear something from Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)?" Jundab said, "I heard him saying, 'Whoever does a good deed in order to show off, Allah will expose his intentions on the Day of Resurrection (before the people), and whoever puts the people into difficulties, Allah will put him into difficulties on the Day of Resurrection.'" The people said (to Jundab), "Advise us." He said, "The first thing of the human body to purify is the `Abdomen, so he who can eat nothing but good food (Halal and earned lawfully) should do so, and he who does as much as he can that nothing intervene between him and Paradise by not shedding even a handful of blood, (i.e. murdering) should do so

ہم سے اسحاق واسطی نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے خالد نے، ان سے جریری نے، ان سے ظریف ابوتمیمہ نے بیان کیا کہ میں صفوان اور جندب اور ان کے ساتھیوں کے پاس موجود تھا۔ صفوان اپنے ساتھیوں ( شاگردوں ) کو وصیت کر رہے تھے، پھر ( صفوان اور ان کے ساتھیوں نے جندب رضی اللہ عنہ سے ) پوچھا: کیا آپ نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے کچھ سنا ہے؟ انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو یہ کہتے سنا ہے کہ جو لوگوں کو ریاکاری کے طور پر دکھانے کے لیے کام کرے گا اللہ قیامت کے دن اس کی ریاکاری کا حال لوگوں کو سنا دے گا اور فرمایا کہ جو لوگوں کو تکلیف میں مبتلا کرے گا اللہ تعالیٰ قیامت کے دن اسے تکلیف میں مبتلا کرے گا، پھر ان لوگوں نے کہا کہ ہمیں کوئی وصیت کیجئے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ سب سے پہلے انسان کے جسم میں اس کا پیٹ سڑتا ہے پس جو کوئی طاقت رکھتا ہو کہ پاک و طیب کے سوا اور کچھ نہ کھائے تو اسے ایسا ہی کرنا چاہئے اور جو کوئی طاقت رکھتا ہو وہ چلو بھر لہو بہا کر ( یعنی ناحق خون کر کے ) اپنے آپ کو بہشت میں جانے سے روکے۔ جریری کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے ابوعبداللہ سے پوچھا، کون صاحب اس حدیث میں یہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا؟ کیا جندب کہتے ہیں؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ ہاں وہی کہتے ہیں۔
