Rapporté par Az-Zubair bin `Adi : Nous sommes allés voir Anas bin Malik et nous nous sommes plaints des injustices que nous subissions de la part d’Al-Hajjaj. Anas bin Malik a dit : « Soyez patients jusqu’à ce que vous rencontriez votre Seigneur, car chaque période qui viendra après la vôtre sera pire que la précédente. J’ai entendu cela du Prophète ﷺ. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ، قَالَ أَتَيْنَا أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ فَشَكَوْنَا إِلَيْهِ مَا نَلْقَى مِنَ الْحَجَّاجِ فَقَالَ " اصْبِرُوا، فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَأْتِي عَلَيْكُمْ زَمَانٌ إِلاَّ الَّذِي بَعْدَهُ شَرٌّ مِنْهُ، حَتَّى تَلْقَوْا رَبَّكُمْ ". سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ نَبِيِّكُمْ صلى الله عليه وسلم.

Narrated Az-Zubair bin `Adi:We went to Anas bin Malik and complained about the wrong we were suffering at the hand of Al- Hajjaj. Anas bin Malik said, "Be patient till you meet your Lord, for no time will come upon you but the time following it will be worse than it. I heard that from the Prophet

ہم سے محمد بن یوسف نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سفیان نے، ان سے زبیر بن عدی نے بیان کیا کہ، ہم انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس آئے اور ان سے حجاج کے طرز عمل کی شکایت کی، انہوں نے کہا کہ صبر کرو کیونکہ تم پر جو دور بھی آتا ہے تو اس کے بعد آنے والا دور اس سے بھی برا ہو گا یہاں تک کہ تم اپنے رب سے جا ملو۔ میں نے یہ تمہارے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا ہے۔
