Hadith 7024 — Livre 91: Interpretation of Dreams

Rapporté par Jabir bin ‘Abdullah : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « (J’ai vu en rêve que) je suis entré au Paradis, et là, il y avait un palais construit en or ! J’ai demandé : “Pour qui est ce palais ?” Ils (les anges) ont répondu : “Pour un homme des Quraish.” » Le Prophète a ajouté : « Ô Ibn Al-Khattab ! Ce n’est que ta jalousie qui m’a empêché d’y entrer. » ‘Umar a dit : « Comment pourrais-je imaginer que ma jalousie soit un problème pour toi, ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) ? »

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " دَخَلْتُ الْجَنَّةَ فَإِذَا أَنَا بِقَصْرٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ، فَقُلْتُ لِمَنْ هَذَا فَقَالُوا لِرَجُلٍ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ. فَمَا مَنَعَنِي أَنْ أَدْخُلَهُ يَا ابْنَ الْخَطَّابِ إِلاَّ مَا أَعْلَمُ مِنْ غَيْرَتِكَ ". قَالَ وَعَلَيْكَ أَغَارُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: (I saw in a dream that) I entered Paradise, and behold, there was a palace built of gold! I asked, 'For whom is this palace?' They (the angels) replied, 'For a man from the Quraish.' " The Prophet added, "O Ibn Al-Khattab! Nothing stopped me from entering it except your Ghira." `Umar said, "How dare I think of my Ghira being offended by you, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)?

ہم سے عمرو بن علی نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے معتمر بن سلیمان نے بیان کیا، ان سے عبیداللہ بن عمر نے بیان کیا، ان سے محمد بن منکدر نے اور ان سے جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”میں جنت میں داخل ہوا تو وہاں ایک سونے کا محل مجھے نظر آیا۔ میں نے پوچھا یہ کس کا ہے؟ کہا کہ قریش کے ایک شخص کا۔ اے ابن الخطاب! مجھے اس کے اندر جانے سے تمہاری غیرت نے روک دیا ہے جسے میں خوب جانتا ہوں۔“ عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! کیا میں آپ پر غیرت کروں گا۔
