Hadith 600 — Livre 9: Times of the Prayers
كتاب مواقيت الصلاة
Rapporté par Qurra bin Khalid : Un jour, il attendit Al-Hasan qui n’arriva pas avant l’heure habituelle de son discours ; puis Al-Hasan arriva et s’excusa en disant : « Nos voisins nous ont invités. » Ensuite, il ajouta : « Anas a rapporté : ‘Un jour, nous avons attendu le Prophète (ﷺ) jusqu’à minuit ou presque. Il est venu, a dirigé la prière, puis, après l’avoir terminée, il s’est adressé à nous et a dit : “Tous les gens ont prié puis sont allés dormir, et vous, vous êtes restés en prière tant que vous l’attendiez.”’ » Al-Hasan a dit : « Les gens sont considérés comme accomplissant de bonnes actions tant qu’ils attendent de faire de bonnes actions. » La parole d’Al-Hasan fait partie du hadith d’Anas rapporté du Prophète (ﷺ)

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحَنَفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا قُرَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ انْتَظَرْنَا الْحَسَنَ وَرَاثَ عَلَيْنَا حَتَّى قَرُبْنَا مِنْ وَقْتِ قِيَامِهِ، فَجَاءَ فَقَالَ دَعَانَا جِيرَانُنَا هَؤُلاَءِ. ثُمَّ قَالَ قَالَ أَنَسٌ نَظَرْنَا النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ حَتَّى كَانَ شَطْرُ اللَّيْلِ يَبْلُغُهُ، فَجَاءَ فَصَلَّى لَنَا، ثُمَّ خَطَبَنَا فَقَالَ " أَلاَ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ صَلَّوْا ثُمَّ رَقَدُوا، وَإِنَّكُمْ لَمْ تَزَالُوا فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا انْتَظَرْتُمُ الصَّلاَةَ ". قَالَ الْحَسَنُ وَإِنَّ الْقَوْمَ لاَ يَزَالُونَ بِخَيْرٍ مَا انْتَظَرُوا الْخَيْرَ. قَالَ قُرَّةُ هُوَ مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَنَسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Qurra bin Khalid:Once he waited for Al-Hasan and he did not show up till it was about the usual time for him to start his speech; then he came and apologized saying, "Our neighbors invited us." Then he added, "Narrated Anas, 'Once we waited for the Prophet (ﷺ) till it was midnight or about midnight. He came and led the prayer, and after finishing it, he addressed us and said, 'All the people prayed and then slept and you had been in prayer as long as you were waiting for it." Al-Hasan said, "The people are regarded as performing good deeds as long as they are waiting for doing good deeds." Al-Hasan's statement is a portion of Anas's [??] Hadith from the Prophet (ﷺ)

ہم سے عبداللہ بن صباح نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ابوعلی عبیداللہ حنفی نے، کہا ہم سے قرہ بن خالد سدوسی نے، انہوں نے کہا کہ ایک دن حسن بصری رحمہ اللہ نے بڑی دیر کی۔ اور ہم آپ کا انتظار کرتے رہے۔ جب ان کے اٹھنے کا وقت قریب ہو گیا تو آپ آئے اور ( بطور معذرت ) فرمایا کہ میرے ان پڑوسیوں نے مجھے بلا لیا تھا ( اس لیے دیر ہو گئی ) پھر بتلایا کہ انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا تھا کہ ہم ایک رات نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا انتظار کرتے رہے۔ تقریباً آدھی رات ہو گئی تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تشریف لائے، پھر ہمیں نماز پڑھائی۔ اس کے بعد خطبہ دیا۔ پس آپ نے فرمایا کہ دوسروں نے نماز پڑھ لی اور سو گئے۔ لیکن تم لوگ جب تک نماز کے انتظار میں رہے ہو گویا نماز ہی کی حالت میں رہے ہو۔ امام حسن بصری رحمہ اللہ نے فرمایا کہ اگر لوگ کسی خیر کے انتظار میں بیٹھے رہیں تو وہ بھی خیر کی حالت ہی میں ہیں۔ قرہ بن خالد نے کہا کہ حسن کا یہ قول بھی انس رضی اللہ عنہ کی حدیث کا ہے جو انہوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کی ہے۔
