كتاب مواقيت الصلاة
Rapporté par Jabir : ‘Umar est venu en maudissant les mécréants (de Quraish) le jour d’Al-Khandaq (la bataille du fossé) et a dit : « Je n’ai pas pu faire la prière du ‘Asr avant le coucher du soleil. » Nous sommes alors allés à Buthan et il a prié (‘Asr) après le coucher du soleil, puis il a prié le Maghrib

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ـ هُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ـ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ جَعَلَ عُمَرُ يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ يَسُبُّ كُفَّارَهُمْ وَقَالَ مَا كِدْتُ أُصَلِّي الْعَصْرَ حَتَّى غَرَبَتْ. قَالَ فَنَزَلْنَا بُطْحَانَ، فَصَلَّى بَعْدَ مَا غَرَبَتِ الشَّمْسُ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى الْمَغْرِبَ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Jabir:`Umar came cursing the disbelievers (of Quraish) on the day of Al-Khandaq (the battle of Trench) and said, "I could not offer the `Asr prayer till the sun had set. Then we went to Buthan and he offered the (`Asr) prayer after sunset and then he offered the Maghrib prayer
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے یحییٰ بن سعید قطان نے، کہا کہ ہم سے ہشام دستوائی نے حدیث بیان کی، کہا کہ ہم سے یحییٰ نے جو ابی کثیر کے بیٹے ہیں حدیث بیان کی ابوسلمہ سے، انہوں نے جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے، انہوں نے فرمایا کہ عمر رضی اللہ عنہ غزوہ خندق کے موقع پر ( ایک دن ) کفار کو برا بھلا کہنے لگے۔ فرمایا کہ سورج غروب ہو گیا، لیکن میں ( لڑائی کی وجہ سے ) نماز عصر نہ پڑھ سکا۔ جابر رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ پھر ہم وادی بطحان کی طرف گئے۔ اور ( آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عصر کی نماز ) غروب شمس کے بعد پڑھی اس کے بعد مغرب پڑھی۔
