كتاب الإكراه
Rapporté par Qais : J'ai entendu Sa`id bin Zaid dire : « Je me suis vu attaché et forcé par `Umar à quitter l'islam (avant que `Umar lui-même n'embrasse l'islam). Et si la montagne d'Uhud devait s'effondrer à cause du mal que vous avez fait à `Uthman, alors Uhud aurait raison de le faire. »

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادٌ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، سَمِعْتُ قَيْسًا، سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ، يَقُولُ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنِي وَإِنَّ عُمَرَ مُوثِقِي عَلَى الإِسْلاَمِ، وَلَوِ انْقَضَّ أُحُدٌ مِمَّا فَعَلْتُمْ بِعُثْمَانَ كَانَ مَحْقُوقًا أَنْ يَنْقَضَّ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Qais:I heard Sa`id bin Zaid saying, "I have seen myself tied and forced by `Umar to leave Islam (Before `Umar himself embraced Islam). And if the mountain of Uhud were to collapse for the evil which you people had done to `Uthman, then Uhud would have the right to do so." (See Hadith No. 202, Vol)

ہم سے سعید بن سلیمان نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے عباد نے، ان سے اسماعیل نے، انہوں نے قیس سے سنا، انہوں نے سعید بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا، انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے اپنے آپ کو اس حال میں پایا کہ اسلام لانے کی وجہ سے ( مکہ معظمہ میں ) عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے مجھے باندھ دیا تھا اور اب جو کچھ تم نے عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ کیا ہے اس پر اگر احد پہاڑ ٹکڑے ٹکڑے ہو جائے تو اسے ایسا ہی ہونا چاہئے۔
