حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، مَوْلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَطَعَ فِي مِجَنٍّ ثَمَنُهُ ثَلاَثَةُ دَرَاهِمَ. تَابَعَهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ وَقَالَ اللَّيْثُ حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ قِيمَتُهُ

Narrated Ibn `Umar:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) cut off the hand of a thief for stealing a shield that was worth three Dirhams

ہم سے اسماعیل نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھ سے مالک بن انس نے بیان کیا، ان سے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کے آزاد کردہ غلام نافع نے بیان کیا، ان سے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک ڈھال پر ہاتھ کاٹا تھا جس کی قیمت تین درہم تھی۔
