كتاب الأيمان والنذور
Rapporté par Anas bin Malik : Abu Talha dit à Um Sulaim : « J’ai entendu la voix du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) qui semblait faible, et j’ai compris que c’était à cause de la faim. As-tu quelque chose (à offrir au Prophète) ? » Elle répondit : « Oui. » Elle prit alors quelques morceaux de pain d’orge, les enveloppa dans un de ses voiles et me les donna pour les porter au Messager d’Allah (ﷺ). Je suis allé le trouver à la mosquée, assis avec des gens. Je me suis tenu devant lui. Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) me demanda : « Est-ce qu’Abu Talha t’a envoyé ? » J’ai répondu : « Oui. » Puis le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) dit à ceux qui étaient avec lui : « Levez-vous et venez. » Je suis passé devant eux pour prévenir Abu Talha et lui expliquer la situation. Abu Talha dit : « Ô Um Sulaim ! Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) est venu et nous n’avons rien à leur donner. » Um Sulaim répondit : « Allah et Son Messager savent mieux. » Abu Talha sortit alors à leur rencontre. Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) entra avec Abu Talha dans la maison. Il dit : « Ô Um Sulaim ! Apporte ce que tu as. » Elle apporta le pain d’orge. Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) demanda qu’on le coupe en petits morceaux, puis Um Sulaim versa dessus un peu de beurre d’une outre. Ensuite, le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) prononça ce qu’Allah voulut (pour bénir la nourriture). Puis il dit : « Faites entrer dix hommes. » Abu Talha les fit entrer, ils mangèrent à leur faim et sortirent. Il dit encore : « Faites entrer dix hommes. » Il les fit entrer, et ainsi de suite jusqu’à ce que tous mangent à leur faim. Ils étaient soixante-dix ou quatre-vingts hommes

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ لأُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ لَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ صَوْتَ، رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ضَعِيفًا أَعْرِفُ فِيهِ الْجُوعَ، فَهَلْ عِنْدَكِ مِنْ شَىْءٍ فَقَالَتْ نَعَمْ. فَأَخْرَجَتْ أَقْرَاصًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ، ثُمَّ أَخَذَتْ خِمَارًا لَهَا، فَلَفَّتِ الْخُبْزَ بِبَعْضِهِ، ثُمَّ أَرْسَلَتْنِي إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَذَهَبْتُ فَوَجَدْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَمَعَهُ النَّاسُ، فَقُمْتُ عَلَيْهِمْ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَرْسَلَكَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ ". فَقُلْتُ نَعَمْ. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لِمَنْ مَعَهُ " قُومُوا ". فَانْطَلَقُوا، وَانْطَلَقْتُ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ حَتَّى جِئْتُ أَبَا طَلْحَةَ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ. فَقَالَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ يَا أُمَّ سُلَيْمٍ قَدْ جَاءَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَلَيْسَ عِنْدَنَا مِنَ الطَّعَامِ مَا نُطْعِمُهُمْ. فَقَالَتِ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ. فَانْطَلَقَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ حَتَّى لَقِيَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَقْبَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَبُو طَلْحَةَ حَتَّى دَخَلاَ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " هَلُمِّي يَا أُمَّ سُلَيْمٍ مَا عِنْدَكِ ". فَأَتَتْ بِذَلِكَ الْخُبْزِ ـ قَالَ ـ فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِذَلِكَ الْخُبْزِ فَفُتَّ، وَعَصَرَتْ أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ عُكَّةً لَهَا فَأَدَمَتْهُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ فِيهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَقُولَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ " ائْذَنْ لِعَشَرَةٍ ". فَأَذِنَ لَهُمْ فَأَكَلُوا حَتَّى شَبِعُوا، ثُمَّ خَرَجُوا، ثُمَّ قَالَ " ائْذَنْ لِعَشَرَةٍ ". فَأَذِنَ لَهُمْ، فَأَكَلَ الْقَوْمُ كُلُّهُمْ وَشَبِعُوا، وَالْقَوْمُ سَبْعُونَ أَوْ ثَمَانُونَ رَجُلاً.

Narrated Anas bin Malik:Abu Talha said to Um Sulaim, "I heard the voice of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) rather weak, and I knew that it was because of hunger. Have you anything (to present to the Prophet)?" She said, "Yes." Then she took out a few loaves of barley bread and took a veil of hers and wrapped the bread with a part of it and sent me to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). I went and found Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) sitting in the mosque with some people. I stood up before him. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said to me, "Has Abu Talha sent you?" I said, ' Yes. Then Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said to those who were with him. "Get up and proceed." I went ahead of them (as their forerunner) and came to Abu Talha and informed him about it. Abu Talha said, "O Um Sulaim! Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) has come and we have no food to feed them." Um Sulaim said, "Allah and His Apostle know best." So Abu Talha went out (to receive them) till he met Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) came in company with Abu Talha and they entered the house. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "O Um Sulaim! Bring whatever you have." So she brought that (barley) bread and Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ordered that bread to be broken into small pieces, and then Um Sulaim poured over it some butter from a leather butter container, and then Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said what Allah wanted him to say, (i.e. blessing the food). Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) then said, "Admit ten men." Abu Talha admitted them and they ate to their fill and went out. He again said, "Admit ten men." He admitted them, and in this way all the people ate to their fill, and they were seventy or eighty men

ہم سے قتیبہ بن سعید نے بیان کیا، ان سے امام مالک نے بیان کیا، ان سے اسحاق بن عبداللہ بن ابی طلحہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا، انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ ابوطلحہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے ( اپنی بیوی ) ام سلیم رضی اللہ عنہا سے کہا کہ میں سن کر آ رہا ہوں نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی آواز ( فاقوں کی وجہ سے ) کمزور پڑ گئی ہے اور میں نے آواز سے آپ کے فاقہ کا اندازہ لگایا ہے۔ کیا تمہارے پاس کھانے کی کوئی چیز ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا ہاں۔ چنانچہ انہوں نے جَو کی چند روٹیاں نکالیں اور ایک اوڑھنی لے کر روٹی کو اس کے ایک کونے سے لپیٹ دیا اور اسے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں بھجوایا۔ میں لے کر گیا تو میں نے دیکھا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مسجد میں تشریف رکھتے ہیں اور آپ کے ساتھ کچھ لوگ ہیں، میں ان کے پاس جا کے کھڑا ہو گیا تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پوچھا، کیا تمہیں ابوطلحہ نے بھیجا ہے، میں نے عرض کیا: جی ہاں۔ پھر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان لوگوں سے کہا جو ساتھ تھے کہ اٹھو اور چلو، میں ان کے آگے آگے چل رہا تھا۔ آخر میں ابوطلحہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے یہاں پہنچا اور ان کو اطلاع دی۔ ابوطلحہ نے کہا: ام سلیم! رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تشریف لائے ہیں اور ہمارے پاس تو کوئی ایسا کھانا نہیں ہے جو سب کو پیش کیا جا سکے؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ اللہ اور اس کے رسول کو زیادہ علم ہے۔ پھر ابوطلحہ رضی اللہ عنہ باہر نکلے اور نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے ملے، اس کے بعد نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور ابوطلحہ گھر کی طرف بڑھے اور اندر گئے۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، ام سلیم! جو کچھ تمہارے پاس ہے میرے پاس لاؤ۔ وہ یہی روٹیاں لائیں۔ راوی نے بیان کیا کہ پھر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے حکم سے ان روٹیوں کو چورا کر دیا گیا اور ام سلیم رضی اللہ عنہا نے اپنی ایک ( گھی کی ) کپی کو نچوڑا گیا یہی سالن تھا۔ اس کے بعد نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جیسا کہ اللہ نے چاہا دعا پڑھی اور فرمایا کہ دس دس آدمیوں کو اندر بلاؤ انہیں بلایا گیا اور اس طرح سب لوگوں نے کھایا اور خوب سیر ہو گئے، حاضرین کی تعداد ستر یا اسی آدمیوں کی تھی۔
