كتاب الأيمان والنذور
Rapporté par Anas : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) fit le serment de s’abstenir de ses épouses pendant un mois. Pendant cette période, il eut une entorse au pied. Il resta dans une pièce à l’étage pendant vingt-neuf nuits, puis il descendit. Les gens dirent alors : « Ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) ! Tu avais juré de t’abstenir (de tes épouses) pendant un mois. » Il répondit : « Un mois (lunaire) peut compter vingt-neuf jours. »

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلاَلٍ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ آلَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنْ نِسَائِهِ، وَكَانَتِ انْفَكَّتْ رِجْلُهُ، فَأَقَامَ فِي مَشْرُبَةٍ تِسْعًا وَعِشْرِينَ لَيْلَةً، ثُمَّ نَزَلَ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ آلَيْتَ شَهْرًا. فَقَالَ {إِنَّ الشَّهْرَ يَكُونُ تِسْعًا وَعِشْرِينَ}
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Anas:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) took an oath for abstention from his wives (for one month), and during those days he had a sprain in his foot. He stayed in a Mashrubah (an upper room) for twenty-nine nights and then came down. Then the people said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! You took an oath for abstention (from your wives) for one month." On that he said, "A (lunar) month can be of twenty-nine days

ہم سے عبدالعزیز بن عبداللہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سلیمان بن بلال نے بیان کیا، ان سے حمید نے اور ان سے انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنی بیویوں کے ساتھ ایلاء کیا (یعنی قسم کھائی کہ آپ ان کے یہاں ایک مہینہ تک نہیں جائیں گے) اور نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاؤں میں موچ آ گئی تھی۔ چنانچہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنے بالا خانہ میں انتیس دن تک قیام پذیر رہے پھر وہاں سے اترے، لوگوں نے کہا یا رسول اللہ! آپ نے ایلاء ایک مہینے کے لیے کیا تھا؟ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ یہ مہینہ انتیس دن کا ہے۔
