Rapporté par Abu Huraira : Il a entendu le Prophète (ﷺ) dire : « Allah a décidé d’éprouver trois personnes parmi les Bani Isra’il. Il a donc envoyé un ange qui est d’abord allé voir le lépreux et lui a dit : “(Je suis un voyageur) qui n’a plus rien pour vivre, et je n’ai personne pour m’aider sauf Allah, puis avec ton aide.” » Abu Huraira a ensuite raconté toute l’histoire

وَقَالَ عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ، سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " إِنَّ ثَلاَثَةً فِي بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَرَادَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَبْتَلِيَهُمْ، فَبَعَثَ مَلَكًا فَأَتَى الأَبْرَصَ فَقَالَ تَقَطَّعَتْ بِي الْحِبَالُ، فَلاَ بَلاَغَ لِي إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ، ثُمَّ بِكَ ". فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abu Hurairah that he heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "Allah decided to test three people from Bani Isra'il. So, He sent an angel who came first to the leper and said, '(I am a traveller) who has run short of all means of living, and I have nobody to help me except Allah, and then with your help.'" Abu Hurairah then mentioned the complete narration

اور عمرو بن عاصم نے کہا ہم سے ہمام بن یحییٰ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے اسحاق بن عبداللہ نے، کہا ہم سے عبدالرحمٰن بن ابی عمرہ نے، ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فرماتے تھے کہ بنی اسرائیل میں تین شخص تھے اللہ نے ان کو آزمانا چاہا ( پھر سارا قصہ بیان کیا ) فرشتے کو کوڑھی کے پاس بھیجا وہ اس سے کہنے لگا میری روزی کے سارے ذریعے کٹ گئے ہیں اب اللہ ہی کا آسرا ہے پھر تیرا ( یا اب اللہ ہی کی مدد درکار ہے پھر تیری ) پھر پوری حدیث کو ذکر کیا۔
