Rapporté par Ibn `Umar : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) s’était fait fabriquer une bague en or, et il la portait avec la pierre tournée vers l’intérieur de sa main. Les gens ont alors fait fabriquer des bagues semblables. Plus tard, le Prophète s’est assis sur la chaire, a retiré sa bague et a dit : « Je portais cette bague avec la pierre vers la paume de ma main. » Puis il l’a jetée et a dit : « Par Allah, je ne la porterai plus jamais. » Alors, tout le monde a jeté ses bagues aussi

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم اصْطَنَعَ خَاتَمًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَكَانَ يَلْبَسُهُ، فَيَجْعَلُ فَصَّهُ فِي بَاطِنِ كَفِّهِ، فَصَنَعَ النَّاسُ خَوَاتِيمَ ثُمَّ إِنَّهُ جَلَسَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَنَزَعَهُ، فَقَالَ " إِنِّي كُنْتُ أَلْبَسُ هَذَا الْخَاتِمَ وَأَجْعَلُ فَصَّهُ مِنْ دَاخِلٍ ". فَرَمَى بِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ " وَاللَّهِ لاَ أَلْبَسُهُ أَبَدًا ". فَنَبَذَ النَّاسُ خَوَاتِيمَهُمْ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Ibn `Umar:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) had a gold ring made for himself, and he used to wear it with the stone towards the inner part of his hand. Consequently, the people had similar rings made for themselves. Afterwards the Prophet; sat on the pulpit and took it off, saying, "I used to wear this ring and keep its stone towards the palm of my hand." He then threw it away and said, "By Allah, I will never wear it." Therefore all the people threw away their rings as well

ہم سے قتیبہ بن سعید نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے لیث بن سعد نے بیان کیا، ان سے نافع نے، ان سے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے سونے کی ایک انگوٹھی بنوائی اور نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اسے پہنتے تھے، اس کا نگینہ ہتھیلی کے حصے کی طرف رکھتے تھے۔ پھر لوگوں نے بھی ایسی انگوٹھیاں بنوا لیں اس کے بعد ایک دن نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم منبر پر بیٹھے اور اپنی انگوٹھی اتار دی اور فرمایا کہ میں اسے پہنتا تھا اور اس کا نگینہ اندر کی جانب رکھتا تھا، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسے اتار کر پھینک دیا اور فرمایا کہ اللہ کی قسم میں اب اسے کبھی نہیں پہنوں گا۔ پس لوگوں نے بھی اپنی انگوٹھیاں اتار کر پھینک دیں۔
