Hadith 6621 — Livre 83: Oaths and Vows
كتاب الأيمان والنذور
Rapporté par `Aisha : Abou Bakr As-Siddiq n’avait jamais rompu ses serments jusqu’à ce qu’Allah révèle l’expiation pour les serments. Ensuite, il a dit : « Si je fais un serment de faire quelque chose et que je trouve ensuite quelque chose de meilleur, alors je fais ce qui est meilleur et j’accomplis l’expiation pour mon serment. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُقَاتِلٍ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ لَمْ يَكُنْ يَحْنَثُ فِي يَمِينٍ قَطُّ، حَتَّى أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ كَفَّارَةَ الْيَمِينِ وَقَالَ لاَ أَحْلِفُ عَلَى يَمِينٍ فَرَأَيْتُ غَيْرَهَا خَيْرًا مِنْهَا، إِلاَّ أَتَيْتُ الَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ، وَكَفَّرْتُ عَنْ يَمِينِي.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated `Aisha:Abu Bakr As-Siddiq had never broken his oaths till Allah revealed the expiation for the oaths. Then he said, "If I take an oath to do something and later on I find something else better than the first one, then I do what is better and make expiation for my oath
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے ابوالحسن محمد بن مقاتل مروزی نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم کو عبداللہ بن مبارک نے خبر دی، کہا ہم کو ہشام بن عروہ نے خبر دی، انہیں ان کے والد نے اور انہیں عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہ ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ کبھی اپنی قسم نہیں توڑتے تھے، یہاں تک کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے قسم کا کفارہ اتارا۔ اس وقت انہوں نے کہا کہ اب اگر میں کوئی قسم کھاؤں گا اور اس کے سوا کوئی چیز بھلائی کی ہو گی تو میں وہی کام کروں گا جس میں بھلائی ہو اور اپنی قسم کا کفارہ دے دوں گا۔
