Hadith 6476 — Livre 81: To make the Heart Tender (Ar-Riqaq)

Rapporté par Abu Shuraih Al-Khuza`i : Mes oreilles ont entendu et mon cœur a retenu ce que le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « La durée pour recevoir un invité est de trois jours (et n’oubliez pas sa récompense). » On a demandé : « Quelle est sa récompense ? » Il a répondu : « La première nuit et le premier jour, il faut lui offrir un repas de grande qualité. Celui qui croit en Allah et au Jour dernier doit accueillir généreusement son invité. Celui qui croit en Allah et au Jour dernier doit dire des paroles bonnes ou se taire. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي شُرَيْحٍ الْخُزَاعِيِّ، قَالَ سَمِعَ أُذُنَاىَ، وَوَعَاهُ، قَلْبِي النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " الضِّيَافَةُ ثَلاَثَةُ أَيَّامٍ جَائِزَتُهُ ". قِيلَ مَا جَائِزَتُهُ قَالَ " يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ، وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ فَلْيُكْرِمْ ضَيْفَهُ، وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ فَلْيَقُلْ خَيْرًا، أَوْ لِيَسْكُتْ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abu Shuraih Al-Khuza`i:My ears heard and my heart grasped (the statement which) the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The period for keeping one's guest is three days (and don't forget) his reward." It was asked, "What is his reward?" He said, "In the first night and the day he should be given a high class quality of meals; and whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, should entertain his guest generously; and whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should talk what is good (sense) or keep quiet

ہم سے ابوالولید نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے لیث بن سعد نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے سعید مقبری نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابوشریح خزاعی نے بیان کیا انہوں نے کہا کہ میرے دونوں کانوں نے سنا ہے اور میرے دل نے یاد رکھا ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے یہ فرمایا تھا ”مہمانی تین دن کی ہوتی ہے مگر جو لازمی ہے وہ تو پوری کرو۔“ پوچھا گیا لازمی کتنی ہے؟ فرمایا کہ ایک دن اور ایک رات اور جو کوئی اللہ اور آخرت کے دن پر ایمان رکھتا ہے اسے چاہئے کہ اپنے مہمان کی خاطر کرے اور جو شخص اللہ اور آخرت کے دن پر ایمان رکھتا ہے اسے چاہئے کہ اچھی بات کہے ورنہ چپ رہے۔
