Hadith 6471 — Livre 81: To make the Heart Tender (Ar-Riqaq)

Rapporté par Al-Mughira bin Shu`ba : Le Prophète (ﷺ) priait tellement que ses pieds devenaient gonflés ou enflés, et quand on lui demandait pourquoi il priait autant, il disait : « Ne devrais-je pas être un serviteur reconnaissant envers Allah ? »

حَدَّثَنَا خَلاَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ عِلاَقَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْمُغِيرَةَ بْنَ شُعْبَةَ، يَقُولُ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُصَلِّي حَتَّى تَرِمَ ـ أَوْ تَنْتَفِخَ ـ قَدَمَاهُ فَيُقَالُ لَهُ، فَيَقُولُ " أَفَلاَ أَكُونُ عَبْدًا شَكُورًا ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Al-Mughira bin Shu`ba:The Prophet (ﷺ) used to pray so much that his feet used to become edematous or swollen, and when he was asked as to why he prays so much, he would say, "Shall I not be a thankful slave (to Allah)?
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے خلاد بن یحییٰ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے مسعر بن کدام نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے زیاد بن علاقہ نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ میں نے مغیرہ بن شعبہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا، انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اتنی نماز پڑھتے کہ آپ کے قدموں میں ورم آ جاتا یا کہا کہ آپ کے قدم پھول جاتے۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے عرض کی جاتی کہ آپ تو بخشے ہوئے ہیں۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فرماتے ہیں کہ کیا میں اللہ کا شکر گزار بندہ نہ بنوں۔
