Rapporté par Ibn `Abbas : J’ai entendu le Prophète (ﷺ) dire : « Si le fils d’Adam possédait deux vallées remplies d’argent, il en voudrait une troisième, car rien ne peut remplir le ventre du fils d’Adam sauf la poussière. Et Allah pardonne à celui qui se repent auprès de Lui. »

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " لَوْ كَانَ لاِبْنِ آدَمَ وَادِيَانِ مِنْ مَالٍ لاَبْتَغَى ثَالِثًا، وَلاَ يَمْلأُ جَوْفَ ابْنِ آدَمَ إِلاَّ التُّرَابُ، وَيَتُوبُ اللَّهُ عَلَى مَنْ تَابَ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Ibn `Abbas:I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "If the son of Adam (the human being) had two valleys of money, he would wish for a third, for nothing can fill the belly of Adam's son except dust, and Allah forgives him who repents to Him
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے ابوعاصم نبیل نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابن جریج نے بیان کیا، ان سے عطاء بن ابی رباح نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ میں نے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے سنا، انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا، نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”اگر انسان کے پاس مال کی دو وادیاں ہوں تو تیسری کا خواہشمند ہو گا اور انسان کا پیٹ مٹی کے سوا اور کوئی چیز نہیں بھر سکتی اور اللہ اس شخص کی توبہ قبول کرتا ہے جو ( دل سے ) سچی توبہ کرتا ہے۔“
