Rapporté par Sahl : J’ai entendu le Prophète (ﷺ) dire : « Un petit espace au Paradis, équivalent à la place occupée par un fouet, vaut mieux que le monde entier et tout ce qu’il contient. Et partir en voyage le matin ou l’après-midi pour la cause d’Allah vaut mieux que le monde entier et tout ce qu’il contient. »

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سَهْلٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " مَوْضِعُ سَوْطٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا، وَلَغَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Sahl:I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "A (small) place equal to an area occupied by a whip in Paradise is better than the (whole) world and whatever is in it; and an undertaking (journey) in the forenoon or in the afternoon for Allah's Cause, is better than the whole world and whatever is in it
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے عبداللہ بن مسلمہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے عبدالعزیز بن ابی حازم نے بیان کیا، ان سے ان کے والد نے اور ان سے سہل رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے آپ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا کہ جنت میں ایک کوڑے جتنی جگہ دنیا اور اس میں جو کچھ ہے سب سے بہتر ہے اور اللہ کے راستے میں صبح کو یا شام کو تھوڑا سا چلنا بھی «الدنيا وما فيها» سے بہتر ہے۔
