Rapporté par Anas : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Chaque prophète a une invocation à laquelle Allah répond sûrement, » (ou il a dit) : « Chaque prophète avait une invocation avec laquelle il demandait à Allah, et son invocation était exaucée de son vivant, mais j’ai gardé ma (cette invocation spéciale) pour intercéder en faveur de mes fidèles le Jour de la Résurrection. »

Texte arabe original
وَقَالَ لِي خَلِيفَةُ قَالَ مُعْتَمِرٌ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " كُلُّ نَبِيٍّ سَأَلَ سُؤْلاً ـ أَوْ قَالَ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ قَدْ دَعَا بِهَا ـ فَاسْتُجِيبَ، فَجَعَلْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Anas: that the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "For every prophet there is an invocation that surely will be responded by Allah," (or said), "For every prophet there was an invocation with which he appealed to Allah, and his invocation was accepted (in his lifetime), but I kept my (this special) invocation to intercede for my followers on the Day of Resurrection

اور معتمر نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے اپنے والد سے سنا، انہوں نے انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ ہر نبی نے کچھ چیزیں مانگیں یا فرمایا کہ ہر نبی کو ایک دعا دی گئی جس چیز کی اس نے دعا مانگی پھر اسے قبول کیا گیا لیکن میں نے اپنی دعا قیامت کے دن اپنی امت کی شفاعت کے لیے محفوظ رکھی ہوئی ہے۔
