Rapporté par `Abdullah bin `Umar : Le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) a organisé une course de chevaux : les chevaux entraînés devaient courir d'un endroit appelé Al-Hafya' jusqu'à Thaniyat Al-Wada`, et les chevaux non entraînés devaient courir de Al-Thaniya jusqu'à la mosquée des Bani Zuraiq. Le sous-narrateur a ajouté : Ibn `Umar faisait partie de ceux qui ont participé à la course

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم سَابَقَ بَيْنَ الْخَيْلِ الَّتِي أُضْمِرَتْ مِنَ الْحَفْيَاءِ، وَأَمَدُهَا ثَنِيَّةُ الْوَدَاعِ، وَسَابَقَ بَيْنَ الْخَيْلِ الَّتِي لَمْ تُضْمَرْ مِنَ الثَّنِيَّةِ إِلَى مَسْجِدِ بَنِي زُرَيْقٍ، وَأَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ فِيمَنْ سَابَقَ بِهَا.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ordered for a horse race; the trained horses were to run from a place called Al-Hafya' to Thaniyat Al-Wada` and the horses which were not trained were to run from Al-Thaniya to the Masjid (mosque of) Bani Zuraiq. The sub narrator added: Ibn `Umar was one of those who took part in the race

ہم سے عبداللہ بن یوسف نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہمیں امام مالک نے خبر دی، انہوں نے نافع کے واسطہ سے بیان کیا، انہوں نے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان گھوڑوں کی جنھیں ( جہاد کے لیے ) تیار کیا گیا تھا مقام حفیاء سے دوڑ کرائی، اس دوڑ کی حد ثنیۃ الوداع تھی اور جو گھوڑے ابھی تیار نہیں ہوئے تھے ان کی دوڑ ثنیۃ الوداع سے مسجد بنی زریق تک کرائی۔ عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے بھی اس گھوڑ دوڑ میں شرکت کی تھی۔
