Hadith 6221 — Livre 78: Good Manners and Form (Al-Adab)

Rapporté par Anas bin Malik : Deux hommes ont éternué devant le Prophète. Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit à l’un d’eux : « Qu’Allah te fasse miséricorde », mais il n’a rien dit à l’autre. Quand on lui a demandé pourquoi, le Prophète (ﷺ) a répondu : « Celui-là a loué Allah en éternuant, alors que l’autre ne l’a pas fait. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ عَطَسَ رَجُلاَنِ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَشَمَّتَ أَحَدَهُمَا وَلَمْ يُشَمِّتِ الآخَرَ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ فَقَالَ " هَذَا حَمِدَ اللَّهَ، وَهَذَا لَمْ يَحْمَدِ اللَّهَ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Anas bin Malik:Two men sneezed before the Prophet. The Prophet (ﷺ) said to one of them, "May Allah bestow His Mercy on you," but he did not say that to the other. On being asked (why), the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "That one praised Allah (at the time of sneezing), while the other did not praise Allah
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے محمد بن کثیر نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سفیان ثوری نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سفیان نے بیان کیا اور ان سے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس دو اصحاب چھینکے۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک کا جواب یرحمک اللہ ( اللہ تم پر رحم کرے ) سے دیا اور دوسرے کا نہیں۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اس کی وجہ پوچھی گئی تو فرمایا کہ اس نے الحمدللہ کہا تھا ( اس لیے اس کا جواب دیا ) اور دوسرے نے الحمدللہ نہیں کہا تھا۔ چھینکنے والے کو الحمدللہ ضرور کہنا چاہئے اور سننے والوں کو یرحمک اللہ۔
