Rapporté par Anas : Le Prophète (ﷺ) avait le meilleur caractère de tous. J’avais un frère qui s’appelait Abu `Umar, et je pense qu’il venait d’être sevré. Chaque fois qu’on l’amenait au Prophète (ﷺ), le Prophète (ﷺ) disait : « Ô Abu `Umar ! Qu’a fait Al-Nughair (le rossignol) ? » C’était un oiseau avec lequel il jouait. Parfois, l’heure de la prière arrivait alors que le Prophète (ﷺ) était chez nous. Il demandait qu’on balaie et qu’on arrose le tapis sous lui, puis il se levait pour prier et nous nous mettions en rang derrière lui, et il nous dirigeait dans la prière

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَحْسَنَ النَّاسِ خُلُقًا، وَكَانَ لِي أَخٌ يُقَالُ لَهُ أَبُو عُمَيْرٍ ـ قَالَ أَحْسِبُهُ فَطِيمٌ ـ وَكَانَ إِذَا جَاءَ قَالَ " يَا أَبَا عُمَيْرٍ مَا فَعَلَ النُّغَيْرُ ". نُغَرٌ كَانَ يَلْعَبُ بِهِ، فَرُبَّمَا حَضَرَ الصَّلاَةَ وَهُوَ فِي بَيْتِنَا، فَيَأْمُرُ بِالْبِسَاطِ الَّذِي تَحْتَهُ فَيُكْنَسُ وَيُنْضَحُ، ثُمَّ يَقُومُ وَنَقُومُ خَلْفَهُ فَيُصَلِّي بِنَا.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Anas:The Prophet (ﷺ) was the best of all the people in character. I had a brother called Abu `Umar, who, I think, had been newly weaned. Whenever he (that child) was brought to the Prophet (ﷺ) the Prophet (ﷺ) used to say, "O Abu `Umar! What did Al-Nughair (nightingale) (do)?" It was a nightingale with which he used to play. Sometimes the time of the Prayer became due while he (the Prophet) was in our house. He would order that the carpet underneath him be swept and sprayed with water, and then he would stand up (for the prayer) and we would line up behind him, and he would lead us in prayer

ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے عبدالوارث نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابوالتیاح نے اور ان سے انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم حسن اخلاق میں سب لوگوں سے بڑھ کر تھے، میرا ایک بھائی ابوعمیر نامی تھا۔ بیان کیا کہ میرا خیال ہے کہ بچہ کا دودھ چھوٹ چکا تھا۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب تشریف لاتے تو اس سے مزاحاً فرماتے «يا أبا عمير ما فعل النغير» اکثر ایسا ہوتا کہ نماز کا وقت ہو جاتا اور نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہمارے گھر میں ہوتے۔ آپ اس بستر کو بچھانے کا حکم دیتے جس پر آپ بیٹھے ہوئے ہوتے، چنانچہ اسے جھاڑ کر اس پر پانی چھڑک دیا جاتا۔ پھر آپ کھڑے ہوتے اور ہم آپ کے پیچھے کھڑے ہوتے اور آپ ہمیں نماز پڑھاتے۔
