Rapporté par Abu Sufyan : Héraclius l’a fait venir et lui a demandé : « Qu’est-ce qu’il, c’est-à-dire le Prophète (ﷺ), vous a ordonné ? » J’ai répondu : « Il nous ordonne de faire la prière, de donner l’aumône, d’être chastes et de maintenir de bonnes relations avec nos proches. »

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا سُفْيَانَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ هِرَقْلَ أَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَأْمُرُنَا بِالصَّلاَةِ وَالصَّدَقَةِ وَالْعَفَافِ وَالصِّلَةِ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abu Sufyan:That Heraclius sent for him and said, "What did he, i.e. the Prophet (ﷺ) order you?" I replied, "He orders us to offer prayers; to give alms; to be chaste; and to keep good relations with our relatives

ہم سے یحییٰ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے لیث نے بیان کیا، ان سے عقیل نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابن شہاب نے بیان کیا، ان سے عبیداللہ بن عبداللہ نے اور انہیں عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے خبر دی اور انہیں ابوسفیان رضی اللہ عنہ نے خبر دی کہ ہرقل نے انہیں بلا بھیجا تو انہوں نے اسے بتایا کہ وہ یعنی نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہمیں نماز، صدقہ، پاک دامنی اور صلہ رحمی کا حکم فرماتے ہیں۔
