Rapporté par Abu Huraira : Une femme qui faisait des tatouages a été amenée devant `Umar. `Umar s’est levé et a dit : « Je vous demande par Allah, qui parmi vous a entendu le Prophète (ﷺ) dire quelque chose à propos du tatouage ? » Je me suis levé et j’ai dit : « Ô chef des croyants ! J’ai entendu quelque chose. » Il a dit : « Qu’as-tu entendu ? » J’ai répondu : « J’ai entendu le Prophète (s’adressant aux femmes) dire : ‘Ne faites pas de tatouages et ne vous faites pas tatouer.’ »

حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ أُتِيَ عُمَرُ بِامْرَأَةٍ تَشِمُ فَقَامَ فَقَالَ أَنْشُدُكُمْ بِاللَّهِ مَنْ سَمِعَ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي الْوَشْمِ فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَقُمْتُ فَقُلْتُ يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَنَا سَمِعْتُ. قَالَ مَا سَمِعْتَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " لاَ تَشِمْنَ وَلاَ تَسْتَوْشِمْنَ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abu Huraira:A woman who used to practise tattooing was brought to `Umar. `Umar got up and said, "I beseech you by Allah, which of you heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying something about tattooing?" I got up and said, "O chief of the Believers! I heard something." He said, "What did you hear?" I said, "I heard the Prophet (addressing the ladies), saying, 'Do not practise tattooing and do not get yourselves tattooed
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے زہیر بن حرب نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے جریر نے بیان کیا، ان سے عمارہ نے، ان سے ابوزرعہ نے اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس ایک عورت لائی گئی جو گودنے کا کام کرتی تھی۔ عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کھڑے ہو گئے ( اور اس وقت موجود صحابہ سے ) کہا میں تمہیں اللہ کا واسطہ دیتا ہوں کسی نے کچھ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے گودنے کے متعلق سنا ہے۔ ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ میں نے کھڑے ہو کر عرض کیا: امیرالمؤمنین! میں نے سنا ہے۔ عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے پوچھا کیا سنا ہے؟ ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا ہے کہ گودنے کا کام نہ کرو اور نہ گدواؤ۔
