Rapporté par Abu `Uthman : Alors que nous étions à Adharbijan, `Umar nous a écrit : « Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a interdit de porter de la soie, sauf une petite quantité. » Puis le Prophète (ﷺ) a rapproché ses deux doigts (l’index et le majeur) pour nous montrer la taille. حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ، قَالَ كَتَبَ إِلَيْنَا عُمَرُ وَنَحْنُ بِأَذْرَبِيجَانَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنْ لُبْسِ الْحَرِيرِ إِلاَّ هَكَذَا، وَصَفَّ لَنَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِصْبَعَيْهِ. وَرَفَعَ زُهَيْرٌ الْوُسْطَى وَالسَّبَّابَةَ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abu `Uthman:While we were at Adharbijan, `Umar wrote to us: 'Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) forbade wearing silk except this much. Then the Prophet (ﷺ) approximated his two fingers (index and middle fingers) (to illustrate that) to us.' Zuhair (the sub-narrator) raised up his middle and index fingers
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے احمد بن یونس نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے زہیر نے بیان کیا، ان سے عاصم نے بیان، ان سے ابوعثمان نے بیان کیا کہ ہمیں عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے لکھا اس وقت ہم آذر بائیجان میں تھے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ریشم پہننے سے منع فرمایا تھا سوا اتنے کے اور اس کی وضاحت نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دو انگلیوں کے اشارے سے کی تھی۔ زہیر ( راوی حدیث ) نے بیچ کی اور شہادت کی انگلیاں اٹھا کر بتایا۔
