Rapporté par Abdullah ibn Umar : Deux hommes sont venus de l’Est et ont parlé aux gens, qui ont été impressionnés par leur éloquence. À ce sujet, le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Certaines paroles éloquentes ont un effet aussi puissant que la magie. »

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما أَنَّهُ قَدِمَ رَجُلاَنِ مِنَ الْمَشْرِقِ، فَخَطَبَا، فَعَجِبَ النَّاسُ لِبَيَانِهِمَا، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنَّ مِنَ الْبَيَانِ لَسِحْرًا ـ أَوْ ـ إِنَّ بَعْضَ الْبَيَانِ لَسِحْرٌ ".

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar:Two men came from the East and addressed the people who wondered at their eloquent speeches On that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said. Some eloquent speech is as effective as magic

ہم سے عبداللہ بن یوسف نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم کو امام مالک نے خبر دی، انہیں زید بن اسلم نے اور ان سے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ دو آدمی پورب کی طرف ( ملک عراق ) سے ( سنہ 9 ھ میں ) مدینہ آئے اور لوگوں کو خطاب کیا لوگ ان کی تقریر سے بہت متاثر ہوئے تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ بعض تقریریں بھی جادو بھری ہوتی ہیں یا یہ فرمایا کہ بعض تقریر جادو ہوتی ہیں۔
