كتاب الذبائح والصيد
Rapporté par Anas : J’ai amené un de mes frères au Prophète (ﷺ) pour qu’il fasse le tahnik pour lui, alors que le Prophète (ﷺ) se trouvait dans une bergerie à lui. Je l’ai vu marquer une brebis au fer. (Le narrateur secondaire a dit : Je pense qu’Anas a précisé que c’était sur l’oreille)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِأَخٍ لِي يُحَنِّكُهُ، وَهْوَ فِي مِرْبَدٍ لَهُ، فَرَأَيْتُهُ يَسِمُ شَاةً ـ حَسِبْتُهُ قَالَ ـ فِي آذَانِهَا.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Anas:I brought a brother of mine to the Prophet (ﷺ) to do Tahnik for him while the Prophet (ﷺ) was in a sheep fold of his, and I saw him branding a sheep. (The sub-narrator said: I think Anas said, branding it on the ear)

ہم سے ابوالولید نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے ہشام بن زید نے ان سے انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں اپنے بھائی ( عبداللہ بن ابی طلحہ نومولود ) کو لایا تاکہ آپ اس کی تحنیک فرما دیں۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اس وقت اونٹوں کے باڑے میں تشریف رکھتے تھے۔ میں نے دیکھا کہ آپ ایک بکری کو داغ رہے تھے ( شعبہ نے کہا کہ ) میں سمجھتا ہوں کہ ( ہشام نے ) کہا کہ اس کے کانوں کو داغ رہے تھے۔
