Rapporté par `Aisha : Le Prophète (ﷺ) aimait commencer par le côté droit chaque fois que c'était possible, pour faire ses ablutions, mettre ses chaussures ou se coiffer. (Al-Ash'ath a dit : Le Prophète (ﷺ) faisait ainsi dans toutes ses affaires

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُحِبُّ التَّيَمُّنَ مَا اسْتَطَاعَ فِي طُهُورِهِ وَتَنَعُّلِهِ وَتَرَجُّلِهِ. وَكَانَ قَالَ بِوَاسِطٍ قَبْلَ هَذَا فِي شَأْنِهِ كُلِّهِ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated `Aisha:The Prophet (ﷺ) used to love to start doing things from the right side whenever possible, in performing ablution, putting on his shoes, and combing his hair. (Al-Ash'ath said: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to do so in all his affairs

ہم سے عبدان نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم کو عبداللہ نے خبر دی، کہا ہم کو شعبہ نے خبر دی، انہیں اشعث نے، انہیں ان کے والد نے، انہیں مسروق نے اور ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جہاں تک ممکن ہوتا پاکی حاصل کرنے میں، جوتا پہننے اور کنگھا کرنے میں داہنی طرف سے ابتداء کرتے۔ اشعث اس حدیث کا راوی جب واسط شہر میں تھا تو اس نے اس حدیث میں یوں کہا تھا کہ ہر ایک کام میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم داہنی طرف سے ابتداء کرتے۔
