Rapporté par Sa`id bin Jubair : J'ai demandé à Ibn `Umar au sujet de ceux qui étaient impliqués dans une affaire de Lian. Il a dit : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit à ceux qui étaient concernés par une affaire de Lian : « Vos comptes sont avec Allah. L’un de vous deux ment, et toi (le mari), tu n’as plus aucun droit sur elle (elle est divorcée). » L’homme a demandé : « Qu’en est-il de ma dot (Mahr) ? » Le Prophète (ﷺ) a répondu : « Tu n’as pas le droit de récupérer ta dot. Si tu as dit la vérité à son sujet, alors ta dot était pour la consommation de ton mariage avec elle ; et si tu as menti à son sujet, tu as encore moins le droit de la reprendre. » Sufyan, un des rapporteurs, a dit : J’ai appris ce hadith de `Amr. Rapporté par Aiyub : J’ai entendu Sa`id bin Jubair dire : J’ai demandé à Ibn `Umar : « Si un homme (accuse sa femme d’adultère et) engage la procédure de Lian, que se passe-t-il ? » Ibn `Umar a écarté deux de ses doigts. (Sufyan a écarté son index et son majeur.) Ibn `Umar a dit : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a séparé le couple de Bani Al-Ajlan par divorce et a dit trois fois : « Allah sait que l’un de vous deux ment ; est-ce que l’un de vous va se repentir auprès d’Allah ? »

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ عَمْرٌو سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ عَنِ الْمُتَلاَعِنَيْنِ،، فَقَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم لِلْمُتَلاَعِنَيْنِ " حِسَابُكُمَا عَلَى اللَّهِ أَحَدُكُمَا كَاذِبٌ، لاَ سَبِيلَ لَكَ عَلَيْهَا ". قَالَ مَالِي قَالَ " لاَ مَالَ لَكَ، إِنْ كُنْتَ صَدَقْتَ عَلَيْهَا، فَهْوَ بِمَا اسْتَحْلَلْتَ مِنْ فَرْجِهَا، وَإِنْ كُنْتَ كَذَبْتَ عَلَيْهَا، فَذَاكَ أَبْعَدُ لَكَ ". قَالَ سُفْيَانُ حَفِظْتُهُ مِنْ عَمْرٍو. وَقَالَ أَيُّوبُ سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لاِبْنِ عُمَرَ رَجُلٌ لاَعَنَ امْرَأَتَهُ فَقَالَ بِإِصْبَعَيْهِ ـ وَفَرَّقَ سُفْيَانُ بَيْنَ إِصْبَعَيْهِ السَّبَّابَةِ وَالْوُسْطَى ـ فَرَّقَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بَيْنَ أَخَوَىْ بَنِي الْعَجْلاَنِ، وَقَالَ " اللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمَا كَاذِبٌ فَهَلْ مِنْكُمَا تَائِبٌ ". ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ. قَالَ سُفْيَانُ حَفِظْتُهُ مِنْ عَمْرٍو وَأَيُّوبَ كَمَا أَخْبَرْتُكَ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Sa`id bin Jubair:I asked Ibn `Umar about those who were involved in a case of Lien. He said, "The Prophet (ﷺ) said to those who were involved in a case of Lien, 'Your accounts are with Allah. One of you two is a liar, and you (the husband) have no right over her (she is divorced)." The man said, 'What about my property (Mahr) ?' The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'You have no right to get back your property. If you have told the truth about her then your property was for the consummation of your marriage with her; and if you told a lie about her, then you are less rightful to get your property back.' " Sufyan, a sub-narrator said: I learned the Hadith from `Amr. Narrated Aiyub: I heard Sa`id bin Jubair saying, "I asked Ibn `Umar, 'If a man (accuses his wife for an illegal sexual intercourse and) carries out the process of Lian (what will happen)?' Ibn `Umar set two of his fingers apart. (Sufyan set his index finger and middle finger apart.) Ibn `Umar said, 'The Prophet (ﷺ) separated the couple of Bani Al-Ajlan by divorce and said thrice, "Allah knows that one of you two is a liar; so will one of you repent (to Allah)?

ہم سے علی بن عبداللہ مدینی نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سفیان بن عیینہ نے بیان کیا کہ عمرو نے کہا کہ میں نے سعید بن جبیر سے سنا، انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے لعان کرنے والوں کا حکم پوچھا تو انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ ان کے متعلق رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا تھا کہ تمہارا حساب تو اللہ تعالیٰ کے ذمہ ہے۔ تم میں سے ایک جھوٹا ہے۔ اب تمہیں تمہاری بیوی پر کوئی اختیار نہیں۔ ان صحابی نے عرض کیا کہ میرا مال واپس کرا دیجئیے ( جو مہر میں دیا گیا تھا ) ۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اب وہ تمہارا مال نہیں ہے۔ اگر تم اس کے معاملہ میں سچے ہو تو تمہارا یہ مال اس کے بدلہ میں ختم ہو چکا کہ تم نے اس کی شرمگاہ کو حلال کیا تھا اور اگر تم نے اس پر جھوٹی تہمت لگائی تھی پھر تو وہ تم سے بعید تر ہے۔ سفیان نے بیان کیا کہ یہ حدیث میں نے عمرو سے یاد کی اور ایوب نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے سعید بن جبیر سے سنا، کہا کہ میں نے ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے ایسے شخص کے متعلق پوچھا جس نے اپنی بیوی سے لعان کیا ہو تو آپ نے اپنی دو انگلیوں سے اشارہ کیا۔ سفیان نے اس اشارہ کو اپنی دو شہادت اور بیچ کی انگلیوں کو جدا کر کے بتایا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے قبیلہ بنی عجلان کے میاں بیوی کے درمیان جدائی کرائی تھی اور فرمایا تھا کہ اللہ جانتا ہے کہ تم میں سے ایک جھوٹا ہے، تو کیا وہ رجوع کر لے گا؟ آپ نے تین مرتبہ یہ فرمایا۔ علی بن عبداللہ مدینی نے کہا کہ سفیان بن عیینہ نے مجھ سے کہا، میں نے یہ حدیث جیسے عمرو بن دینار اور ایوب سے سن کر یاد رکھی تھی ویسی ہی تجھ سے بیان کر دی۔
