كتاب فضائل القرآن
Rapporté par `Abdullah bin Mas`ud : Le Prophète (ﷺ) m’a dit : « Récite-moi le Coran. » J’ai répondu : « Ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ), dois-je te réciter le Coran alors qu’il t’a été révélé ? » Il a dit : « Oui. » J’ai donc récité la sourate An-Nisa (Les Femmes). Quand je suis arrivé au verset : « Comment sera-ce quand Nous ferons venir de chaque communauté un témoin, et que Nous te ferons venir, toi (Ô Muhammad), comme témoin contre ces gens-là ? » (4.41), il a dit : « Cela suffit pour l’instant. » Je l’ai regardé et j’ai vu que ses yeux débordaient de larmes

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ قَالَ لِي النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " اقْرَأْ عَلَىَّ ". قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ آقْرَأُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَيْكَ أُنْزِلَ قَالَ " نَعَمْ ". فَقَرَأْتُ سُورَةَ النِّسَاءِ حَتَّى أَتَيْتُ إِلَى هَذِهِ الآيَةِ {فَكَيْفَ إِذَا جِئْنَا مِنْ كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ بِشَهِيدٍ وَجِئْنَا بِكَ عَلَى هَؤُلاَءِ شَهِيدًا} قَالَ " حَسْبُكَ الآنَ ". فَالْتَفَتُّ إِلَيْهِ فَإِذَا عَيْنَاهُ تَذْرِفَانِ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated `Abdullah bin Mas`ud:The Prophet (ﷺ) said to me, "Recite (the Qur'an) to me." I said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) Shall I recite (the Qur'an) to you while it has been revealed to you?" He said, "Yes." So I recited Surat-An-Nisa' (The Women), but when I recited the Verse: 'How (will it be) then when We bring from each nation a witness and We bring you (O Muhammad) as a witness against these people.' (4.41) He said, "Enough for the present," I looked at him and behold! His eyes were overflowing with tears
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے محمد بن یوسف نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے سفیان بن عیینہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے اعمش نے، ان سے ابراہیم نے، ان سے عبیدہ نے اور ان سے عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ مجھ سے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ مجھے قرآن پڑھ کر سناؤ۔ میں نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! میں آپ کو پڑھ کر سناؤں، آپ پر تو قرآن مجید نازل ہوتا ہے۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ہاں سناؤ۔ چنانچہ میں نے سورۃ نساء پڑھی جب میں آیت «فكيف إذا جئنا من كل أمة بشهيد وجئنا بك على هؤلاء شهيدا» پر پہنچا تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اب بس کرو۔ میں نے آپ کی طرف دیکھا تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی آنکھوں سے آنسو جاری تھے۔
