حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ الأَزْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ عَنْ قِرَاءَةِ النَّبِيِّ، صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ كَانَ يَمُدُّ مَدًّا.

ہم سے مسلم بن ابراہیم نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے جریر بن حازم ازدی نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے قتادہ نے بیان کہ میں نے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی تلاوت قرآن مجید کے متعلق سوال کیا تو انہوں نے بتلایا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ان الفاظ کو کھینچ کر پڑھتے تھے جن میں مد ہوتا تھا۔
