Rapporté par Abu Wail : Nous sommes allés voir `Abdullah le matin et un homme a dit : « Hier, j'ai récité toutes les sourates Mufassal. » À cela, `Abdullah a répondu : « C'est très rapide, et nous avons la récitation du Prophète (ﷺ). Je me souviens très bien de la façon dont il récitait ces sourates, et il y avait dix-huit sourates des Mufassal, et deux sourates qui commencent par Ha Mim. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَاصِلٌ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ غَدَوْنَا عَلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ قَرَأْتُ الْمُفَصَّلَ الْبَارِحَةَ. فَقَالَ هَذًّا كَهَذِّ الشِّعْرِ، إِنَّا قَدْ سَمِعْنَا الْقِرَاءَةَ وَإِنِّي لأَحْفَظُ الْقُرَنَاءَ الَّتِي كَانَ يَقْرَأُ بِهِنَّ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ثَمَانِيَ عَشْرَةَ سُورَةً مِنَ الْمُفَصَّلِ وَسُورَتَيْنِ مِنْ آلِ حم.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abu Wail:We went to `Abdullah in the morning and a man said, "Yesterday I recited all the Mufassal Suras." On that `Abdullah said, "That is very quick, and we have the (Prophet's) recitation, and I remember very well the recitation of those Suras which the Prophet (ﷺ) used to recite, and they were eighteen Suras from the Mufassal, and two Suras from the Suras that start with Ha Mim

ہم سے ابوالنعمان نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے مہدی بن میمون نے، کہا ہم سے واصل احدب نے، ان سے ابووائل نے عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے بیان کیا کہ ہم ان کی خدمت میں صبح سویرے حاضر ہوئے۔ حاضرین میں سے ایک صاحب نے کہا کہ رات میں نے ( تمام ) مفصل سورتیں پڑھ ڈالیں۔ اس پر عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ بولے جیسے اشعار جلدی جلدی پڑھتے ہیں تم نے ویسے ہی پڑھ لی ہو گی۔ ہم سے قرآت سنی ہے اور مجھے وہ جوڑ والی سورتیں بھی یاد ہیں جن کو ملا کر نمازوں میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پڑھا کرتے تھے۔ یہ اٹھارہ سورتیں مفصل کی ہیں اور وہ دو سورتیں جن کے شروع میں «حم.» ہے۔
