Rapporté par Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri : Pendant l’un de nos voyages, nous nous sommes arrêtés à un endroit où une jeune esclave est venue et a dit : « Le chef de cette tribu a été piqué par un scorpion et nos hommes ne sont pas là ; y a-t-il quelqu’un parmi vous qui sait le soigner (en récitant quelque chose) ? » L’un de nous est parti avec elle, même si nous ne pensions pas qu’il connaissait un tel traitement. Mais il a soigné le chef en récitant quelque chose, et le malade a guéri. En récompense, il lui a donné trente moutons et nous a offert du lait à boire. À son retour, nous avons demandé à notre ami : « Savais-tu comment soigner avec une récitation ? » Il a répondu : « Non, je l’ai seulement soigné en récitant la Mère du Livre (c’est-à-dire Al-Fatiha). » Nous avons dit : « N’en parle à personne avant que nous n’arrivions ou que nous demandions au Prophète (ﷺ). » Quand nous sommes arrivés à Médine, nous avons raconté cela au Prophète (pour savoir si les moutons que nous avions reçus étaient licites). Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Comment a-t-il su qu’on pouvait utiliser (Al-Fatiha) pour soigner ? Partagez la récompense et réservez-m’en une part aussi. »

حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ مَعْبَدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ كُنَّا فِي مَسِيرٍ لَنَا فَنَزَلْنَا فَجَاءَتْ جَارِيَةٌ فَقَالَتْ إِنَّ سَيِّدَ الْحَىِّ سَلِيمٌ، وَإِنَّ نَفَرَنَا غُيَّبٌ فَهَلْ مِنْكُمْ رَاقٍ فَقَامَ مَعَهَا رَجُلٌ مَا كُنَّا نَأْبُنُهُ بِرُقْيَةٍ فَرَقَاهُ فَبَرَأَ فَأَمَرَ لَهُ بِثَلاَثِينَ شَاةً وَسَقَانَا لَبَنًا فَلَمَّا رَجَعَ قُلْنَا لَهُ أَكُنْتَ تُحْسِنُ رُقْيَةً أَوْ كُنْتَ تَرْقِي قَالَ لاَ مَا رَقَيْتُ إِلاَّ بِأُمِّ الْكِتَابِ. قُلْنَا لاَ تُحْدِثُوا شَيْئًا حَتَّى نَأْتِيَ ـ أَوْ نَسْأَلَ ـ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَلَمَّا قَدِمْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ ذَكَرْنَاهُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ " وَمَا كَانَ يُدْرِيهِ أَنَّهَا رُقْيَةٌ اقْسِمُوا وَاضْرِبُوا لِي بِسَهْمٍ ". وَقَالَ أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ حَدَّثَنِي مَعْبَدُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ بِهَذَا
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri:While we were on one of our journeys, we dismounted at a place where a slave girl came and said, "The chief of this tribe has been stung by a scorpion and our men are not present; is there anybody among you who can treat him (by reciting something)?" Then one of our men went along with her though we did not think that he knew any such treatment. But he treated the chief by reciting something, and the sick man recovered whereupon he gave him thirty sheep and gave us milk to drink (as a reward). When he returned, we asked our friend, "Did you know how to treat with the recitation of something?" He said, "No, but I treated him only with the recitation of the Mother of the Book (i.e., Al-Fatiha)." We said, "Do not say anything (about it) till we reach or ask the Prophet (ﷺ) so when we reached Medina, we mentioned that to the Prophet (in order to know whether the sheep which we had taken were lawful to take or not). The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "How did he come to know that it (Al-Fatiha) could be used for treatment? Distribute your reward and assign for me one share thereof as well

مجھ سے محمد بن مثنیٰ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے وہب بن جریر نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ہشام بن حسان نے بیان کیا، ان سے محمد بن سیرین نے، ان سے معبد بن سیرین نے اور ان سے ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ ہم ایک فوجی سفر میں تھے ( رات میں ) ہم نے ایک قبیلہ کے نزدیک پڑاؤ کیا۔ پھر ایک لونڈی آئی اور کہا کہ قبیلہ کے سردار کو بچھو نے کاٹ لیا ہے اور ہمارے قبیلے کے مرد موجود نہیں ہیں، کیا تم میں کوئی بچھو کا جھاڑ پھونک کرنے والا ہے؟ ایک صحابی ( خود ابوسعید ) اس کے ساتھ کھڑے ہو گئے، ہم کو معلوم تھا کہ وہ جھاڑ پھونک نہیں جانتے لیکن انہوں نے قبیلہ کے سردار کو جھاڑا تو اسے صحت ہو گئی۔ اس نے اس کے شکرانے میں تیس بکریاں دینے کا حکم دیا اور ہمیں دودھ پلایا۔ جب وہ جھاڑ پھونک کر کے واپس آئے تو ہم نے ان سے پوچھا کیا تم واقعی کوئی منتر جانتے ہو؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ نہیں میں نے تو صرف سورۃ فاتحہ پڑھ کر اس پر دم کر دیا تھا۔ ہم نے کہا کہ اچھا جب تک ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اس کے متعلق نہ پوچھ لیں ان بکریوں کے بارے میں اپنی طرف سے کچھ نہ کہو۔ چنانچہ ہم نے مدینہ پہنچ کر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے ذکر کیا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ انہوں نے کیسے جانا کہ سورۃ فاتحہ منتر بھی ہے۔ ( جاؤ یہ مال حلال ہے ) اسے تقسیم کر لو اور اس میں میرا بھی حصہ لگانا۔ اور معمر نے بیان کیا ہم سے عبدالوارث بن سعید نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ہشام بن حسان نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے محمد بن سیرین نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے معبد بن سیرین نے بیان کیا اور ان سے ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ نے یہی واقعہ بیان کیا۔
