كتاب فضائل القرآن
Rapporté par ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Gabriel m’a récité le Coran d’une façon. Je lui ai alors demandé de me le réciter d’une autre manière, et j’ai continué à lui demander de le réciter différemment, jusqu’à ce qu’il me le récite de plusieurs façons, pour finir par me le réciter de sept façons différentes. »

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُفَيْرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " أَقْرَأَنِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَى حَرْفٍ فَرَاجَعْتُهُ، فَلَمْ أَزَلْ أَسْتَزِيدُهُ وَيَزِيدُنِي حَتَّى انْتَهَى إِلَى سَبْعَةِ أَحْرُفٍ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated `Abdullah bin `Abbas:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Gabriel recited the Qur'an to me in one way. Then I requested him (to read it in another way), and continued asking him to recite it in other ways, and he recited it in several ways till he ultimately recited it in seven different ways
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے سعید بن عفیر نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ مجھ سے لیث بن سعد نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ مجھ سے عبیداللہ بن عبداللہ نے بیان کیا اور ان سے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ جبرائیل علیہ السلام نے مجھ کو ( پہلے ) عرب کے ایک ہی محاورے پر قرآن پڑھایا۔ میں نے ان سے کہا ( اس میں بہت سختی ہو گی ) میں برابر ان سے کہتا رہا کہ اور محاوروں میں بھی پڑھنے کی اجازت دو۔ یہاں تک کہ سات محاوروں کی اجازت ملی۔
