Rapporté par `Abdullah : À propos des versets : « Et il était à deux portées d’arc, ou plus près encore ; Il a alors révélé à Son serviteur (Gabriel), et celui-ci (Gabriel) a transmis (cela à Muhammad)... » (53.9-10) Ibn Mas`ud nous a raconté que le Prophète (ﷺ) avait vu Gabriel avec six cents ailes

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ، حَدَّثَنَا الشَّيْبَانِيُّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ زِرًّا، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، {فَكَانَ قَابَ قَوْسَيْنِ أَوْ أَدْنَى * فَأَوْحَى إِلَى عَبْدِهِ مَا أَوْحَى} قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّهُ رَأَى جِبْرِيلَ لَهُ سِتُّمِائَةِ جَنَاحٍ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated `Abdullah:Regarding the Verses: 'And was at a distance of but two bow-lengths or (even) nearer; So did (Allah) convey the Inspiration to His slave (Gabriel) and then he Gabriel) conveyed (that to Muhammad...' (53.9-10) Ibn Mas`ud narrated to us that the Prophet (ﷺ) had seen Gabriel with six hundred wings
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے ابوالنعمان نے بیان کیا، ان سے عبدالوحد بن زیاد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سلیمان شیبانی نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ میں نے زر بن حبیش سے سنا اور انہوں نے عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے آیت «فكان قاب قوسين أو أدنى * فأوحى إلى عبده ما أوحى» یعنی ”صرف دو کمانوں کا فاصلہ رہ گیا تھا بلکہ اور بھی کم۔ پھر اللہ نے اپنے بندہ پر وحی نازل کی جو کچھ بھی نازل کیا“ کے متعلق بیان کیا کہ ہم سے عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جبرائیل علیہ السلام کو ان کی اصل صورت میں دیکھا تھا ان کے چھ سو پر تھے۔
