Rapporté par Yusuf bin Mahak : Marwan avait été nommé gouverneur du Hijaz par Muawiya. Il a prononcé un sermon et a mentionné Yazid bin Muawiya pour que les gens lui prêtent allégeance comme successeur de son père (Muawiya). Alors `Abdur Rahman bin Abu Bakr lui a dit quelque chose, ce qui a poussé Marwan à ordonner son arrestation. Mais `Abdur-Rahman est entré dans la maison de `Aisha et ils n’ont pas pu l’arrêter. Marwan a dit : « C’est lui (`AbdurRahman) à propos de qui Allah a révélé ce verset : ‘Et celui qui dit à ses parents : “Fi de vous ! Me promettez-vous... ?”’ » Là-dessus, `Aisha a dit derrière un rideau : « Allah n’a rien révélé dans le Coran à notre sujet, sauf ce qui concerne la déclaration de mon innocence (de la calomnie). »

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مَاهَكَ، قَالَ كَانَ مَرْوَانُ عَلَى الْحِجَازِ اسْتَعْمَلَهُ مُعَاوِيَةُ، فَخَطَبَ فَجَعَلَ يَذْكُرُ يَزِيدَ بْنَ مُعَاوِيَةَ، لِكَىْ يُبَايِعَ لَهُ بَعْدَ أَبِيهِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ شَيْئًا، فَقَالَ خُذُوهُ. فَدَخَلَ بَيْتَ عَائِشَةَ فَلَمْ يَقْدِرُوا {عَلَيْهِ} فَقَالَ مَرْوَانُ إِنَّ هَذَا الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ فِيهِ {وَالَّذِي قَالَ لِوَالِدَيْهِ أُفٍّ لَكُمَا أَتَعِدَانِنِي}. فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْحِجَابِ مَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ فِينَا شَيْئًا مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ إِلاَّ أَنَّ اللَّهَ أَنْزَلَ عُذْرِي.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Yusuf bin Mahak:Marwan had been appointed as the governor of Hijaz by Muawiya. He delivered a sermon and mentioned Yazid bin Muawiya so that the people might take the oath of allegiance to him as the successor of his father (Muawiya). Then `Abdur Rahman bin Abu Bakr told him something whereupon Marwan ordered that he be arrested. But `Abdur-Rahman entered `Aisha's house and they could not arrest him. Marwan said, "It is he (`AbdurRahman) about whom Allah revealed this Verse:-- 'And the one who says to his parents: 'Fie on you! Do you hold out the promise to me..?'" On that, `Aisha said from behind a screen, "Allah did not reveal anything from the Qur'an about us except what was connected with the declaration of my innocence (of the slander)

ہم سے موسیٰ بن اسماعیل نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ابوعوانہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابوبشر نے، ان سے یوسف بن ماہک نے بیان کیا کہ مروان کو معاویہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے حجاز کا امیر ( گورنر ) بنایا تھا۔ اس نے ایک موقع پر خطبہ دیا اور خطبہ میں یزید بن معاویہ کا باربار ذکر کیا، تاکہ اس کے والد ( معاویہ رضی اللہ عنہ ) کے بعد اس سے لوگ بیعت کریں۔ اس پر عبدالرحمٰن بن ابی بکر رضی اللہ عنہما نے اعتراضاً کچھ فرمایا۔ مروان نے کہا اسے پکڑ لو۔ عبدالرحمٰن اپنی بہن عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے گھر میں چلے گئے تو وہ لوگ پکڑ نہیں سکے۔ اس پر مروان بولا کہ اسی شخص کے بارے میں قرآن کی یہ آیت نازل ہوئی تھی «والذي قال لوالديه أف لكما أتعدانني» کہ ”اور جس شخص نے اپنے ماں باپ سے کہا کہ تف ہے تم پر کیا تم مجھے خبر دیتے ہو۔“ اس پر عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا کہ ہمارے ( آل ابی بکر کے ) بارے میں اللہ تعالیٰ نے کوئی آیت نازل نہیں کی بلکہ تہمت سے میری برات ضرور نازل کی تھی۔
