كتاب تفسير النبي ﷺ
Rapporté par Abu Dharr : Une fois, j’étais avec le Prophète (ﷺ) dans la mosquée au moment du coucher du soleil. Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Ô Abu Dharr ! Sais-tu où le soleil se couche ? » J’ai répondu : « Allah et Son Messager savent mieux. » Il a dit : « Il va se prosterner sous le Trône d’Allah ; et c’est ce qu’Allah dit : ‘Et le soleil court vers un lieu de repos qui lui est assigné. Tel est le décret du Tout-Puissant, de l’Omniscient.’ »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ كُنْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي الْمَسْجِدِ عِنْدَ غُرُوبِ الشَّمْسِ فَقَالَ " يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ أَتَدْرِي أَيْنَ تَغْرُبُ الشَّمْسُ ". قُلْتُ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ. قَالَ " فَإِنَّهَا تَذْهَبُ حَتَّى تَسْجُدَ تَحْتَ الْعَرْشِ، فَذَلِكَ قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى {وَالشَّمْسُ تَجْرِي لِمُسْتَقَرٍّ لَهَا ذَلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ الْعَزِيزِ الْعَلِيمِ}"
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abu Dharr:Once I was with the Prophet (ﷺ) in the mosque at the time of sunset. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "O Abu Dharr! Do you know where the sun sets?" I replied, "Allah and His Apostle know best." He said, "It goes and prostrates underneath (Allah's) Throne; and that is Allah's Statement:-- 'And the sun runs on its fixed course for a term (decreed). And that is the decree of All-Mighty, the All-Knowing

ہم سے ابونعیم نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے اعمش نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابراہیم تیمی نے، ان سے ان کے والد نے اور ان سے ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ آفتاب غروب ہونے کے وقت میں مسجد میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ موجود تھا۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ ابوذر! تمہیں معلوم ہے یہ آفتاب کہاں غروب ہوتا ہے؟ میں نے عرض کیا اللہ اور اس کے رسول کو زیادہ علم ہے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ یہ چلتا رہتا ہے یہاں تک کہ عرش کے نیچے سجدہ کرتا ہے جیسا کہ ارشاد باری ہے «والشمس تجري لمستقر لها ذلك تقدير العزيز العليم» کہ ”اور آفتاب اپنے ٹھکانے کی طرف چلتا رہتا ہے، یہ زبردست علم والے کا ٹھہرایا ہوا اندازہ ہے۔“
