كتاب تفسير النبي ﷺ
Rapporté par Sa`id ibn Jubair : J’ai demandé à Ibn `Abbas à propos de la parole d’Allah : « …sa récompense sera l’Enfer. » (4:93) Il a dit : « Aucun repentir n’est accepté de lui (c’est-à-dire du meurtrier d’un croyant). » Je lui ai demandé à propos de la parole d’Allah : « Ceux qui n’invoquent pas avec Allah une autre divinité… » (25:68) Il a dit : « Ce verset a été révélé à propos des polythéistes de l’époque préislamique. »

حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ عَنْ قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى {فَجَزَاؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ} قَالَ لاَ تَوْبَةَ لَهُ. وَعَنْ قَوْلِهِ جَلَّ ذِكْرُهُ {لاَ يَدْعُونَ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَهًا آخَرَ} قَالَ كَانَتْ هَذِهِ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Sa`id bin Jubair:I asked Ibn `Abbas about Allah's saying:-- '.. this reward is Hell Fire.' (4.93) He said, "No repentance is accepted from him (i.e. the murderer of a believer)." I asked him regarding the saying of Allah: 'Those who invoke not with Allah any other god.' ...(25.68) He said, "This Verse was revealed concerning the pagans of the pre-Islamic period

ہم سے آدم نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے منصور نے بیان کیا، ان سے سعید بن جبیر نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے «فجزاؤه جهنم» کے متعلق سوال کیا تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ اس کی توبہ قبول نہیں ہو گی اور اللہ تعالیٰ کے ارشاد «لا يدعون مع الله إلها آخر» کے متعلق پوچھا تو آپ نے فرمایا کہ یہ ان لوگوں کے متعلق ہے جنہوں نے زمانہ جاہلیت میں قتل کیا ہو۔
